"L’arrivée était très bien. Le propriétaire a pu nous accommoder pour les draps, oreillers et serviettes de douche puisque nous étions en moto. Par contre le spa n’était pas en fonction et nous aurions bien aimé pourvoir l’utiliser. Cet endroit est très près du lac et facile d’accès à pied, près de la plage et aussi près d’un p’tit restaurant. Malheureusement la journée où nous sommes allés c’était fermé, mais au bout de la pointe c’est possible de se rendre au resto de la marina."

"I loved that I could walk out the patio door and my car is right there. I find it difficult to manage stairs because of my knees. They were kind enough to make arrangements for me to get a ground floor. Very pleasant staff."

"Overall our trip was just ok and was disappointing I a few different areas. There were so some things the owner couple definitely improve on like making sure there was firewood, not just leftover scraps he didn’t use around the buildings, we had to email him and someone brought us wood. Plugging in the fridge knowing you had the bunkie rented( we drove 3 hours to a very small warm fridge), having the port-o-john beside us that looked like it was never cleaned out(not usable) , having a supply of toilet paper in the main washroom and shower area. The mattress should definitely be updated to something you don’t sink into would also be a bonus. Signage was also an issue to let you know where to go in the bush. They were to small and in bushes to see properly. I have camped my whole life and must say yes I was disappointed. Add indicated 15 minutes from town but more like 30. Just a bit more inconvenient when going to a festival."

"We really liked the 3 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms in the house with a large driveway. The main bedroom had a queen bed and ensuite and the other 2 double bedrooms had a shared bathroom. It had a spacious kitchen and the living room had 2 nice sized couches. It was a 15 minute walk to the restaurants for perch and pickerel and The Lighthouse Theatre. Great location in a quiet neighbourhood for our 2 night stay. Would definitely return for our next theatre outing. The host was great at communicating with us."

"We had a great stay at the Lodge overall. It was very clean, well-maintained, and the host was excellent with communication throughout our trip. The property had everything we needed, and we especially enjoyed the backyard fire pit. We also appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had air conditioning.There were a couple of things worth noting for future guests. The Wi-Fi was somewhat unreliable during our stay, and because the lodge is located just off a major road, there is consistent traffic noise. The air conditioning is provided by a window unit, which kept the main area comfortable, but the bedrooms could still get quite warm despite the overhead fans.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be a comfortable place for our vacation. If the road noise and warmer bedrooms aren’t deal-breakers for you, it’s a great option with a responsive host and a clean, welcoming space."
