We were fortunate enough to stay for two months in this wonderful property. The cottage was well equipped and perfectly located within the heart of Woodbridge. Abi & Ed were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We would love to stay in this property again.
This was our second visit and it was just as nice as we remembered it. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable beds and a lovely feel to the house. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town so ideally placed for shopping, relaxing etc. Thank you Abi!
Really enjoyed our stay, cottage has everything you need, plus a nice outside area where you can eat. We had great contact with Abi and were able to stay longer. 2 mins walk from Woodbridge which has everything. We enjoyed walking to the harbour area with an interesting Museum and The Longshed. Nice area is havedrink and lunch/ dinnerto have
All terrific except that one of us doesn’t sleep well in the double bed - though the mattress is very comfortable the bed frame does jiggle about every time one person moves, affecting the other.
I’m sure sounder sleepers wouldn’t complain - personal problem! Otherwise we love the cottage and its location and this time enjoyed having friends to dinner too.
Thank you Abi and Ed
Accommodation was lovely except 3rd bedroom was more a cupboard with a curtain, no door, and a camp bed with metal cross bars that you could feel. Situation was perfect, close to river and town centre. Garden was not secure for my dogs as there was access via gates both sides to neighbours and both gates were left open one night. Parking was on the very narrow road, all full when I arrived and double yellow lines everywhere meant I was ready to go home as I couldn’t park away from the property and carry everything to the cottage, luckily a place became available on my last drive round.
Parking was tight but did always manage to find a space in Kingston Road.Great location. Property was very comfortable and well equipped, a freezer compartment in the fridge would have been useful.

Clean ,quaint and cute. Excellent communication, directions. Very happy with our stay
the only niggle we had is the lack of Parking by the property. To say there is parking is a stretch. We paid for parking, which was not excessive, 5.40 a day. The carpark was only a short walk from the property and did not cause any real problems. That aside, the little house is lovely. the garden is a sun trap. everything works as it should and is very comfortable. We'd stay there again.
Perfect mix of welcoming comfort and simple modern style. Spacious rooms, perfectly equipped with everything one could need, and well-placed for both riverside walks or shopping in town.
Our third visit, which says it all really! Thanks to the excellent hosts.

Good: Clean, comfy bed, close to town and river / park, and enclosed courtyard.
Not so Good: Noise from road meant we had to keep windows shut, no freezer compartment in fridge, TV only got BBC channels
We've stayed in various holiday cottages in Woodbridge and loved this one most of all. Nicely decorated, well-equipped and the dining table is big enough for 6, which is often rare. lovely stay, thank you.
Perfect cottage and met our needs for the weekend as we stayed for a wedding.
Would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.
Abi and Ed as hosts were kind enough to treat us to a bottle cava to celebrate our occasion….beyond expectations.
Kingfisher Cottage was in an ideal location for exploring Woodbridge and walking to Sutton Hoo and back by the river.
Lots of independent shops to browse nearby and the Blue Salt restaurant was perfect for dinner on our first evening.
The cottage had everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Comfy beds, good size living/dining room, well equipped kitchen and a lovely sunspot in the garden to sit and chat with a glass of wine.
Perfect for us 😊
Excellent location for Woodbridge and all it has to offer, and provided a great place to stay while in the area for a wedding. Super clean, lots of supplies/facilities (particularly appreciated the cava!) and communication was excellent.
