"Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day"

"We needed a place to stay in Hansville to celebrate a friend's retirement. We really lucked out finding this lovely place so close to the event. Perfect for two couples. Plenty of space. Beautiful neighborhood and gorgeous sunsets."

"Cute cosy cottage - 2 large comfortable rooms upstairs with heaters & electric blankets Old stove fire downstairs along with aircon. Tiny kitchenette located in the open plan living area downstairs— which has everything you need for a few days away (no oven but has a cooktop). Tea bags, coffee pods, Nespresso machine & milk in the fridge on arrival. Things like salt & pepper, glad wrap & paper towel on hand was appreciated. Really feels like you’re in a home Fantastic large backyard extending right to the river edge - shared across host home & two rental cottages. This place is truly dog friendly - hosts are happy to have small furry friends visit. You may also meet another guest in the second cottage, who may also has a furry friend. (It’s quite nice to make a friendly connection in a very small town where chances are you’ll bump into each other at the pub, shop or a cafe.)Loads of beautiful birds visiting or flying over the backyard: black cockatoos, king parrots, rosellas.Backyard is fenced but there are a few gaps where wildlife sometimes dig holes under the wire — I wouldn’t leave an adventurous dog in the yard unattended.Very kind & caring hosts Phil & Annie living close by, ready to help if needed. FYI — we had read past reviews before we came & took a night light for the bathroom, avoiding the noisy fan at night. 4 adults - 2 couples - stayed for 2 nights over a winter weekend. Would happily have stayed longer. Hope to return again! "

"It was a wonderful experience to stay in the Cottage over the long weekend for my daughters wedding. The rooms were cosy and warm and the amenities fabulous. Located centrally to the main area of Berrima - a short walk, it was a convenient and handy location for our family. I would highly recommend the venue, it was clean and well appointed - only suggestion would be to include a full length mirror. Many thanks Fiona."
