The staff was really helpful and allowed us to get in early, which was great as we were very tired and were able to settle in. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in in a long time! The drawback to me was that there were too many high-tech pieces, all of which had lights and were kind of hard for me to ignore during the night. And I would’ve rather had more space instead of a giant hot tub in the room, but that’s just me.

The location is perfect and the inn is quite charming. The room did look larger in the pictures online but the hot tub area could not have been better. We enjoyed our stay. Just as a note, if you are planning on staying and have a larger vehicle the parking lot can be a little bit tight.

The country suite of the Gingerbread House is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A nice walk into town for good food (definitely try Paddy's pub) and a patio. Loved the hot tub after a day of hiking the amazing trails the Bay of Fundy has to offer. Wish we had time to take advantage of the fireplace area. The only issue which could be easily remedied are the pillows which were as thin as could be. I'd definitely bring my own. Other than that a great place!!

Convenient Getaway Close to the City

The Gingerbread House property looks like you have pulled up to an inn somewhere in Europe. Cute and clean. 1he electronic management system is slick - they communicate every step of your stay! It was a real treat to have a hot tub in the room as well.

Has Potential

The room had a comfortable bed and lots of space. It was close to downtown and we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Mike, property manager, was awesome and accommodating for an early check in so we could attend an event on time. It looked like the room had been closed for a while because there were cobwebs throughout, with the washroom being the worst. The hot tub was great but the cover is attached in a way that it can’t be moved aside well which infringes on space. It’s a better run for one person. The really disappointing part was breakfast. Good selection but delivery is decided on a first come first served basis. We had three breakfasts, one day I was late for a meeting, one day I missed breakfast to be on time for a meeting and the last day was checkout so it came in good time. If meal times are flexible that might work for you but not if you are on a schedule. I made a mistake when calculating the cost and Ahmed explained it to me patiently. The place is a little run down but has potential and they were doing some painting while we were there. The price was expensive and, while the people were great, we won’t likely book again but wish them well.
