These cottages are very well maintained and very clean. The little compound was beautifully decorated and easy to navigate. This is a great place for families and groups traveling together.
My wife and I went to pick up kids from camp and just stay overnight visiting family on Lake Winnipesaukee. Usually we do a hotel but this is how we managed things this time. I was pleasantly surprised with everything. Our kids are 12 and 9 so everyone staying in one room is not too big a problem (not sure how it would be with teenagers). But Wolfeboro is a great town and only 5-10 minute walk to all the shopping and restaurants. I could see how the cabin option could be a great long vacation for a week with plenty of outdoor space, grilling, firepit, etc. Clean, modern, and well kept property.
My sister and I stayed here for one night after a great Foliage Train Ride in Meredith. The property was perfectly decorated for Halloween and when we got to the cottage, we were extremely impressed. The little kitchen /breakfast nook was adorable, spotlessly clean from top to bottom, the bathroom, like Mr Clean was in there himself. The beds were really comfy, awesome mattresses. Outside are your own little sitting area with personal firepits and privacy. It’s like cottages in a camping area.. very impressed. We are already planning to go back with family next year during the summertime and just have a fantastic time.. we can’t wait.. I highly recommend The Cottages in Wolfeboro NH above and beyond what words could express..
Thank you to the Hosts for this wonderful home away from home..
I came up to Wolfeboro with my family and we had a great time on the property. Comfortably slept 6 adults, very clean and super responsive host. We even used the free bikes and biked 10 mins into downtown Wolfeboro for breakfast and shopping.
We were so impressed with the host's willingness to transport their kayaks to the beach for our use. We had a great time kayaking around the lake. The cottage was lovely, also, and we enjoyed our time there.
It was an ideal cabin for our family. One note was you have to drive to the lake, but they were willing to help in any way we needed. The grounds were clean and quiet hours were respected, which was great because we have young kids.
