"Downtown Chicago service and amenities, right in the middle of a crap hole like Wisconsin Rapids. It doesn't make sense, but I'm so happy it's there. Complimentary massage chairs, 2 great restaurants, decent breakfast, and beautiful pool and hot tub. All this, and it's one of the lowest cost hotels in the area. "

"My granddaughters and I were in Wisconsin Rapids for a gymnastics competition. We came up the day before. The girls and I had a wonderful time swimming in the hotel pool, it was nice and warm. The owner was very nice and the beds were very comfortable."

"This was the third time our family has stayed at The Gambrel Guesthouse. John and Claudia are wonderful hosts! The house is very clean and well stocked; the yard is large enough for bags, baseball, badminton, etc. There is a great firepit with lots of wood for s'mores, pudgy pies, etc A nice lake/
