This place used to be great to stay at. I especially liked the patio/balcony access. Not the case this time. The place is "under construction" without warning to me. Dirty environment, warning on sliding patio door: "charging $100 if door opened, maintenance also tried pushing their way into our room right after we checked in. I hope things get better here. Strongly recommend calling before booking to check status of remodeling/ construction.

Basic rooms aren't allowed to use patio doors because "outdoor pool isn't open so we don't want people outside" is what we were told. When my husband complained they upgraded us to a nice king suite so we could go out the patio door. Along the same outdoor area walkway as the cheaper rooms we weren't allowed to go out. The lock on the patio door had been bent and didn't lock making it dangerous. We also got overcharged as we paid for the room online on Expedia, paid the $10 resort fee at the hotel, and when the $50 incidentals dame out it took over $90 instead which meant a good mother's day brunch was out of the question for us. We got $50 back that night or next morning and the other $40 three days later. Pool is only open Friday and Saturday which meant we couldn't swim Sunday morning before checkout. Always had a soft spot for this hotel because I met my husband there 4 years ago but it's a lot trashier now than I remember it then. Minor renovations like door locks and soap holes in the shower dangling from the walls would even go a long way. There's literally prostitutes in the area going to those few hotels on that block so a locked door wouldn't given me peace of mind.

So this property is not well maintained and our first room had holes in the walls, the air conditioner was broken into pieces and the floor was dirty. We asked for our money back and was given a better room. The floor is clean but the window is filled with large ants. Please be ware that this hotel is more of a motel that is unkept and unattended to. The staff is polite even though they tried to get payment twice after we had already paid. I do not recommend this location

My room that I first checked in at, the lights didn’t work, there was a bag tied to the sink. The bed was unmade. Then they gave us a new room and the tv didn’t work at first. I called ahead of time to ensure the hot tub would be working. We got there the hot tub was broke. This is unacceptable.

When we arrived it was a long line of people we went to our room discovered that the people in front of me took our room with two infants and Luggage it was hard to go back to the front desk and told them they overbooked us. The same people that was in line with me the first time was in the lobby complaining about they had no rooms. As soon as we went to our room we noticed that the floor wasn't mopped our socks was so dirty I felt unsafe because the lock wasn't on the door. This hotel said they had two swimming pools but they only had one and it was okay environment for the kids but their equipment was so old the lifeguards have fallen asleep on their post. There was blood on the walls or makeup we told them about it and they had no rooms available. A couple days after we got back I noticed that one of my toddlers caught something because she's been having diarrhea for over your week now. This place is not safe unclean. I would NEVER go back or recommend

The prices are cheap but you get what you pay for. The room was updated ish.. it was still in the process of updating. Bed was comfy, shower had hot water. It was exactly what we needed, just a place to sleep. Water park was small but nice. They need to have someone cleaning the always and entry area could use a moping. Elevators was dirty too. They are starting to do update so we will see when the changes fix.

I have described in great detail with photos to Expedia of the common area conditions and the fact that the stuff gave me a room with a bathroom that had not been cleaned. The common areas beside the main lobby is filthy. Floors haven’t been mobbed, mold is present, they have been under construction for years and it’s just band aid repairs. You can see rooms filled with old mattresses and trash, it’s just horrific. They should close off a portion of those rooms. No manager was on site on a Saturday afternoon as well.

The indoor water park is the perfect size for our toddler! There is a large pool of less than 2 ft of water for the little ones to run around in with multiple sprayers. The water in this shallow area was warm enough for our 3 month old to go in even! The only thing missing is a small slide for the newer walkers to go down. There are tunnel slides in this area and also tunnel slides into the lazy river. The lazy river heater was broken but the staff was attentive to get this fixed. There are larger tunnel slides that go into the river as well. There is also an area with dumping buckets, and the pool area has a large hot tub. There is no regular pool to swim in which is a downfall, but with littles it was perfect. The outdoor waterpark looks like it will have even more to offer when warm weather rolls around. If you are looking for a cheaper dells experience with plenty of things for a toddler to do and wayyy less crowds, don’t trust the negative reviews! Clean rooms and it appears they are making upgrades

I dont even know where to begin! This place was horrible dont waste your money people. They had no fridge or microwaves in the room, the water was scorching hot you couldnt even shower, the front desk workers told me to just share a fridge with someone else! I almost slipped outside from the ice and they had put no salt! They lied to me about spring break pool hours and only opened Friday and saturday and closed the rest of the days. The tables by the pool upstairs were so dirty and full of trash nobody cleaned up and the pool chairs were filled with mold! Horrible place never again.

I'm hoping that we happen to stay at a off weekend. Our lamp and coffee maker in our room did not work. Our first night the pool was so cold there was no possible way you could swim in it, it was like a polar Bear plunge. There was snow a day or two before we had left and there should have been salt put down in the doorways to get into the hotel, you had to be very careful walking so you didn't fall down. We got more snow before we left and with the ice underneath that snow I almost fell into the splits as we left. Otherwise I think it would be a good place to stay, they just obviously need to work on a few things.

We had 2 adjoining rooms which aside from the cleaning staff missing the cheetos all over the rug, the dirty toilet and a used coffee filter, the room was nicely updated. Key cards stopped working on day 2. Not sure what happened there. Adult/lolder kid pool area with slide and lazy river was closed for most of the weekend. We were told that something broke so the water was too cold. They did end up opening it up later on Friday but Sat, it was closed again. Apparently, something else broke. Major bummer with two 13yr olds. The property is being renovated so maybe in time, it will be a nice place to stay.

We got the older part of building this time. Last experience was great this time the room was pretty bad. There was like makeup smeared on wall, holes that they were trying to fix bit not fully done. Shower head was broken and the sink was clogged wouldnt drain down. So this experience was not the greatest.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They have BEDBUGS‼️‼️‼️ My family and I booked two rooms for the weekend so we could celebrate my daughter’s birthday and it turned into the most uncomfortable and grossest trip. Day one my husband woke up with bites all over and we assumed it was a spider because no one else was bitten. But we were all strangely itchy tho! Day two I woke up itchy and as soon as I sat up, I saw a big crawling all over my pillow. I immediately recorded it and confirmed that it was indeed a bedbug! I now have bites all over my face! It’s disgusting and unacceptable that they’re not checking and/or properly cleaning these rooms!

The only thing that I noticed was that the windows had no screens and my husband likes the window open and we had our dog with us

The room was very nice and comfortable. Looked recently renovated. Off season so pretty quiet. Only one small disadvantage beening that website said pools(plural) would be open on Friday and Saturdays, but only kids pool area and hot tub were open.

It is very apparent that the marketing of this property is not up to date. The property has broken windows, doors with holes where the door handle and keycard readers are that are absent, carpet pulling up from floor where we tripped numerous times. Key cards constantly failing to have to get new ones, the hallways, stairwells did not look like they were vaccumed for weeks. Externally there was trash, parking lot was potholed, etc. It was absolutely notrosish. If would could have moved to another hotel that was less than an hour away from our event we would have. The hotel listing on 3rd party sites as well as there own is beyond false in both what the property looks like, let alone the ammentities. Will be escalating the experience and disgrace of the property. There were two fights each night on our floor and excessive marijuana use, to the point my teenage daughter would not sleep the second night. We went out and bought bedding to sleep over what was on the beds. The WORST experience!

Could be great if it was clean
The halls really smelled of pot and they tried covering it up with Fabuloso and it didn't work. Many of the reviews are right, the rooms are not very clean. The only thing that really bothered me was the floor being as dirty as it was. I was seriously considering going to Walmart and buying a mop and bucket and clean it myself but we were only there for two days. The beds were clean at least. It was weird because you could tell the rooms were recently renovated, you would think they would want to keep them clean. The waterpark was nice. It was surprising how large it is because the pictures dont really show all that is available in the waterpark. We were there for my daughter's birthday and she really did enjoy the waterpark. This hotel could be great if they just kept it clean. Thats so frustrating!

The hotel smelled like marijuana, and was unclean. There was a dirty coffee cup in the room and opened soaps. The halls were covered in salt from the outdoors, and the waterpark was dirty. I would not recommend. When we spoke to the hotel staff on check in, the rooms were not ready. We voiced complaints on checkout and were blown off. It’s cheap for a reason.
