"My accommodation was perfect, with everything that I needed and I even had a garage to put my car into. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, and I would love to use this B&B in future. On this occasion I did not have breakfast as I was going out for an early lunch.."

"This is a great venue if you wish to be off grid lifestyle. For us it didn’t quite meet our needs as our dog couldn’t manage the staircase & although we thought we had a shower and separate bathroom we only had a bath.
Hot water is at a premium here we found & lacking in water pressure. But truly a great venue if you wish to unplug, & chill.
One recommendation I would make, to help dogs relax. Is to the make the gardens private with privacy screens. The dog next door was barky & uneasy...

"Great small independent hotel - I arrived very late but the owner was really helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay there again if I am working in that area."

"We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. It's a simple, no-frills place with basic amenities, but it delivered exactly what we expected. Don't judge a book by its cover. The room is renovated and unique. Breakfast was not included but you can purchase it, the day before. We asked for an English breakfast, paid in advance and was served in the morning at the scheduled time. It was one of the best breakfast we had. The coffee was...

"This is a really nice hotel, rooms are large and well equipped although I do like a walk in shower rather than over a bath but hey go. The staff are professional and helpful. Parking is ample but £5 per night.
The hotel is a little tad remote as I usually look for somewhere nearer the centre of things but there’s a nice pub nearby and lots of retail areas if you want delivery or pickup. It’s definitely a good place to stay."
"Stayed for one night as a halfway point to our summer holiday. Arrived early evening and got checked in inside a few minutes. Asked at reception for some extra pillows for the beds, which were delivered within a few minutes. We all slept soundly, little to no noise from either the services car park or within the hotel. Room was a little warm, with a fan provided. It's a good value for money no-frills hotel and we'll be back next time we do the same journey.
We didn't use the restaurant in the hotel, but breakfast and dinner is available - there's a wide range of food and drink available and prices are reasonable (to compete with the eateries elsewhere on site). The bar is open to hotel guests only."
"The stay was amazing, staff very welcoming and full of smiles, seriously, home away from home, clean room, above all the serene was calm, natural and attractive.
Excellent breakfast with nice choices."
The Milestone Hotel, Peterborough (Cambridgeshire), Sure Collection by Best Western
10/10 Excellent
"I have stayed at the hotel several times when travelling between the North of England and the South. Its is a "no bells or whistles" hotel but has everything I want for a stop over without spending a fortune. Easy car parking, comfortable bed, everything clean, bar with decent selection and not over priced, basic evening meal menu for bite to eat if needed. All rooms on two floors so not many stairs (plenty of ground floor rooms). Shower is over bath in all rooms ive stayed at which is a bit of a bug bear with me as I don't see the need for a bath in every room.
The hotel was quiet on this stay (normally has a few people in the bar and at breakfast), but breakfast was as plentiful as ever with everything you would want and more than I would expect from a budget hotel.
I've stayed many times before and will continue to stay when I want to break my journey when travelling past Peterborough."
"Presently surprised at the quality of fixtures and fittings- towels, bedding, decoration, soaps and all the little extras. Huge room, very comfortable bed. Was supplied with a small fan due to the heat wave which was welcomed if you stood infront of it but didn't really reach everywhere. Quite room so we slept extremely well. Excellent breakfast and service . Staff very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to booking again for a long weekend. Didn't give 5 stars for all categories as entrance stair carpet badly stained and the usual scale and water stains in the bathroom."
"Overall we had a great time and for the price we paid I do feel it was great value for money.
Pros: friendly staff, clean room, great food, great history of the building and the pool and steam room was amazing. Breakfast was superb!
Cons: (but nothing bad that would stop me going again just slight tweaks I feel would help) grounds are amazing but need some attention, sauna was either not working properly or was simply running too low, food and staff in Huntleys restaurant were fab however the room the restaurant in is so nice little things like wires hanging down the wall and seats where the view was let it down, the space could be used a lot better.
I feel it’s a solid high end 3 star hotel and misses the critical touches of a 4 star however I’ve given it a 4 purely down to the staff as they were so accommodating."
