Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton by IHG
Holiday Inn Bristol-Filton by IHG"The property was spotless, clean, the bed and open area spacious, but the bathroom, especially the bath area, was not big enough to move around. The room temperature was colder at night. Breakfast was good, with a variety of choices; the gym space is small and lacks enough equipment. Most importantly, it is a nice place to get a quiet, relaxing break, and I would recommend it to loved ones and friends for a good staycation. Also staff were friendly and consider coming back in future."
"1. There were many dead bees to start off with 2. Bedside lamps didn’t even work so we had to sleep with the main light on. 3. The pressure of the sink in the toilet was disastrous as it was too high and would go everywhere and the water kept turning on and off . 4. The main light kept flickering. 5. There was also no staff in the property and when we faced some problems in the night and we weren’t comfortable to phone them in the night ."
"My room was cosy and provided all that was necessary. Having arrived, by bus, before the check-in time I was greeted in a friendly and professional manner and shown to my room. Breakfast was well catered for, although I may have missed this in the itinerary, apart from there not being a cooked option. All in all a good experience."

DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North
DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North"Stayed for 1 night with family during trip to Bristol. May stay again, will just avoid having dinner there. Positives: Staff really nice, friendly and helpful. Great buffet breakfast, varied selection - cooked breakfast, pastries, cereals, fruits, yogurts, pancakes ("make your own pancakes" machine was entertaining!). Swimming pool good size for a hotel, well maintained and water pleasantly warm. Good location, close to local attractions and easy drive to central Bristol. Main negative -...
"Hotel from hell, all Night and all morning mysterious banging from all parts of hotel. Creaking banging all hours of the night. Couldn’t sleep"
"It was comfortable, quiet. The diner was reasonably priced and there was plenty of food. My only very slight grumble is that there was no decaf coffee in the room. It was good value for money. The staff were helpful. Thank you"
