Charming Brick Farmhouse with a Touch of Elegance. -Winona

The Village House is a fully restored farmhouse nestled at the foot of the bluffs in beautiful Winona. The house has been completely remodeled but still has loads of character with exposed brick walls, high ceilings, and gracious furnishings. The outdoor spaces are equally inviting, especially the patio which is surrounded by gardens with a view of our charming neighborhood. Each bedroom has a full private bath so no one has to share. We're conveniently located just minutes from historic downtown Winona, two university campuses, and the Mississippi River.

We are inspected annually by the MN Department of Health and licensed by the City of Winona. We have cameras facing only our parking lot. The cameras are on for security and safety of our guests. There are no cameras facing the house, patio, porch or inside the house. We fully respect the privacy of our guests while providing a safe and secure home.

This is one of our favorite homes to stay in. Every bedroom has a private bath! The home is impeccably clean throughout. The hosts have thought of every detail from toiletries to an amazingly well-stocked kitchen full of every utensil and pan you could need! The hosts are great people who truly desire to give exceptional experiences. We also love the neighborhood - wonderful walk-ability!

Gathering for Our Mom's Memorial

Most of our family grew up in Winona and gathered at our mom's house. She passed away last September so we needed a place to stay. The Village House Inn was PERFECT! It is a beautiful place with a large gathering space and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We had a chance to share meals and memories and it was a wonderful setting to do that.

I can’t say enough great things about this place! We started out our time on the patio with plenty of seating for our group. The kitchen was well stocked. We loved the Keurig with fun variety of coffees, plus a regular coffee maker. Main room had nice areas for conversations, watching the game and working on a family puzzle. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms was fantastic. Location is great. Beautiful area. Next time we get together this will be our place to stay.

1971 High School Girls Reunion

There are always between 7-10 of us. Plenty of space for sleeping. Plenty of bathroom's. Beautiful home/Inn. Quiet surroundings. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of seating so we can always sit together as a group. Highly recommended by our whole group!

Labor Day Getaway

Spent Labor Day weekend with extended family. The place was exactly as advertised. Especially liked a bathroom for each couple! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative was the highway noise was noticeable, particularly the first night there. Easily got used to it by the second night!

Amazing Property and Hosts

This may rank as our favorite stay yet. The house is impeccably maintained and furnished, as well as beautiful and full of character. We stayed here with three other couples when we visited our college sons (who are roommates). The house is absolutely IDEAL for groups. Every bedroom has its own bathroom (INCREDIBLE) and there are multiple common spaces in which to congregate. The grill was a huge plus for our meals. The neighborhood was perfect for walking. We can't wait to stay here again!

They though of everything

Lots of indoor and outdoor living spaces including a patio, porch, a little library, a living room and a sitting room / study. The beds where comfortable and the bathrooms stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen had everything we needed including coffee and tea. There were games, movies and books for the kids. This home is wonderful. It is spotlessly clean and has multiple amenities. The gathering spaces are great. We loved the outdoor patio. The beds are comfortable and the attached bathrooms were wonderful since we all needed to get ready for a family wedding. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. The neighborhood is cute and I’d say the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a gem. The communication was excellent and we appreciated the responsiveness We have stayed in many short term rentals in the past 7 years. This one is a definite 5 star for sure👏

The Village House Inn is all that is described and more! The house is in outstanding condition for its age, impeccably decorated, very clean, and moist of all welcoming to all who enter. Our group of four couples were extremely happy with our stay there. The owner communicated very well with us and answered all questions, including a recommendation of where to eat--Sliced for a casual dinner before our Winona River Boat Cruise, which we would also recommend to visitors. Village House is in a quiet neighborhood even though near a highway. We give this a 5 out of 5 stars for everything! Village House is a great place for all who come--including comfortable beds, private bathrooms, and everything you need to feel at home. OUTSTANDING!
