The hotel was clean and cozy. There was a choice of different warm breakfasts as well as some simple cold breakfast included with the stay. I ate twice at their restaurant and it did not disappoint!! The front staff was very courteous and even offered to bring my diner up to my room for me. They also called after I got my diner to check in to see if I had all I needed for the night. Will definitely be using this hotel in the future.

Well trained front desk staff. They were dealing with a potentially volatile situation and kept calm and were able to de-escalate the situation. The cooked for you breakfast was a treat as was the open lobby/eating area. We were able to use the area in the evening to play cards. Staff was very friendly. Good value for the money

Rooms are very clean and beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast in the morning was an amazing touch. Bar and off sales attached was nice as well. The lobby and surrounding area is a bit rough, but they had security in the lobby. Keep in mind no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep and carpeted in such a way they are easy to trip on.

Great hotel 24 hour security. car felt very safe parked in back parking lot. Breakfast was also great cooked to order fresh and hot. Staff were nice and accommodating. The biggest thing that sets this hotel apart was definitely the safe parking and security.

Hojo is a older Hotel, but this particular one in Winnipeg was over the top as far as facility. Staff were amazing, friendly and helpful breakfast included with made to order menu restaurant and bar attached as well as entertainment centre in the basement restaurant staff were super friendly as hotel staff very pleasant place to stay will definitely make it our go to in Winnipeg.

Overall, my stay was good, and there were several things I appreciated about the hotel. The room was very clean and spacious, the staff were professional, helpful, and extremely friendly, and the breakfast was great. Unfortunately, the biggest issue was the strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the hotel. Despite the property being advertised as smoke-free, both the hallways and my room smelled noticeably of cigarette smoke. This was quite disappointing and really took away from the comfort of the stay. If a hotel is designated as smoke-free, guests should reasonably expect the rooms and common areas to be free from cigarette odours. The bed was also quite lumpy and uncomfortable, and there were several light switches in the room that didn’t seem to control anything, which was a little odd. There are definitely some positives here, particularly the cleanliness, spacious room, excellent staff, and breakfast. However, the cigarette smoke issue really needs to be addressed, as it significantly affected what otherwise would have been a very pleasant stay.

We had a really good stay. Check-in was quick, room was clean and the staff was ver helpful. I didn’t like that the cleaning staff came to clean our room the next day while we were having breakfast. All of our belongings were still in the room so I don’t know why she would’ve started cleaning until we left.
