Firstly you never stayed here at all. We did speak and told YOU that you had to cancel your reservation through Expedia not through us as you booked it directly with them. You wanted us to issue you a refund for trying to cancel the day before and you knew that Expedia already told you you would lose the one night deposit. Sad that you have the issue but are trying to hurts us in the process. Have a wonderful holiday

Just so you know we do have ground floor rooms for guests who have difficulty navigating stairs subject to availability of course. Paul Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry you were disappointed by the room. You selected the specific room which was a standard room (1 of 3 in that classification). Maybe they were already booked but I assure you we have really beautiful Rooms and Suites of course at a higher price point. In the Crooked Frame where you stayed you are correct it is a higher bed however we have a movable step right at the bed for your use. I apologize if we did not show you this when we escorted you both to the room. We will work on this for the future and hope you will book with us again as well. Happy Holidays to you and your family

Susan Thank you for providing feedback. You a penalizing us for you booking a room on Expedia that clearly states on the 3rd floor and in Property description clearly states no elevator as the Mansion was built in 1902- prior to electricity. The room absolutely has a Queen size bed and As far as the television goes, we only have 3 rooms that even have a TV and we told you as we escorted to your room that it was a smart TV that could be used to access Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Etc... Again No surprise and not our fault if you do not know your own user names and passwords. Most of our guests appreciate that we do not have in room TVs however there are also two televisions in each dining area that you could have also watched with out having to remember your usermane or passwords. I am glad you enjoyed breakfast. Have a wonderful holiday

We do tell people at check in that the included fare is light- that is why we also offer the full hot plated breakfast at a small additional charge. I am sorry but there are additional common areas including the Great Hall and Library in addition to the pub that are available to our guests. We do have limitations as to the number of people who can be in the area due to COVID distancing protocols. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to hosting you again in the future.
