The area is perfect for avid walkers and cyclists, with numerous trails starting right from your doorstep. Orrest Head provides a stunning viewpoint and was the first Lakeland summit visited by A. Wainwright. Take the car ferry across to Hill Top House, the beautifully conserved former home of Beatrix Potter and continue to traffic-free Hawkshead, with its whitewashed houses and charming cafes. Visit the smaller peaceful lake of Grasmere, 15 miles away, being sure to sample some of its famous gingerbread. Neighbouring Ambleside, home to shops, restaurants, a cinema and one of the most photographed houses in the Lake District.
This woodland glamping pod offer a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Designed to sleep two adults and two children, the pods feature a cosy double bed and an additional sofa bed. A fully equipped kitchenette and breakfast table provide the ideal setup for a hearty morning meal before venturing out to explore the scenic surroundings. After a day of walking or enjoying watersports, you can unwind in the blissful shower room. The bathroom is complete with a WC, and heating ensures warmth on chilly nights.
