Windermere Manor Hotel

"Some of the past reviews nearly put us off but most of them are really unfair.luckily we ignored them and took a chance. The hotel manager is very helpful indeed, the breakfast staff are lovely . The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was extremely well organised and really delicious. I just wish those who leave a bad review if they have had a problem would think first and speak to the Manager to try and resolve things. We should be supporting our hotels in this country , not leaving unfair reviews which could affect their long term future"

"Friendly and helpful staff. We had a hot tub on the balcony which was good. Restaurant was very good with Michelin food. Number of dinner sittings quite restricted (we had to eat at 6.30 pm) but the food was special. We ere offered by default the 9 course option which towards the end was quite a lot of food (of great quality) and I would have liked to have been offered the smaller option menu too. They swapped my partners menu for a vegetarian option immediately and the choice of food was excellent."

"We had a lovely stay at Beech Hill Hotel. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and they were always attentive. We were also lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade on arrival, which was a really nice surprise! We had both breakfast and an evening meal at the hotel and thoroughly enjoyed both. The facilities were great too. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely come back. Thank you to all the staff at Beech Hill for making our stay so lovely!"

"Strange entrance to our room as had to hold the fire door open and room door to get the cases in. Room was clean as was bathroom although bath panel very scruffy. Due to the style of sink turning the tap on causes a tidal wave and wets you through so have to use cautiously! Had to pay for parking as didn’t book directly with hotel."

"Nice hotel in a great location between Windermere and Bowness. Hotel was clean, well maintained with basic amenities including a bar, car parking, and a restaurant for breakfast. We chose a basic ground floor room with a king size bed, en-suite with a shower. The room was clean and comfortable and suitable for our needs. An excellent breakfast was served daily. With options of full English, Salmon, pancakes, cereals, fruits and breads to choose from. All in all an affordable comfortable hotel in a great location."
