"The host was in communication with me the whole time. They had a lot of snow the weekend we went and offered to let us change our dates but we decided to go anyways. We got snowed in Saturday and didn’t make our snow tubing appointment cause we couldn’t get our car out of the driveway but the cabin was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and board and card games to play. We will definitely be back again a d are already planning our trip next year! "

"We had a wonderful stay. The view was amazing! The house was clean and we enjoyed every bit of the dwelling from the hot tub to the theater room. My family and I were there for a Christmas vacation and we had a wonderful time!"

"Host answered all our questions and needs in a very quick manner. Firepits are a family favorite and this one was probably the best we’ve ever had. Never had such a view except at The Little Switzerland Inn near Spruce Pine.The home was a perfect fit for us, our three kids and their families. Lots of room, all on one level."

"Upon arriving, I was immediately sad about having to leave. This place was so cozy and cute, and we thoroughly enjoyed the soaking tub. It was actually so nice to take the time to build and tend the fire to get the water juuuust right. Kitchen had everything we needed; I always bring some basics but was happy to find extra seasonings for cooking there. And Artico (our dog) was thrilled to see there were some treats for him, too. April was super responsive and check-in and check-out were a breeze."

"This house was an excellent basecamp for a group of friends looking to explore the Linville Gorge area over a few days. The house is very cute & located in a beautiful neighborhood just a couple miles from many of the trails in Linville Gorge. Everything was clean & well ordered and the check-in/check-out process was straightforward. Highly recommend!"
