Relaxing, Clean and Cozy

This property made my Fall getaway to Talkeetna complete! The modern decor made this property stand out amongst the crowded market of properties that tend to cater to tourists that want the “Alaskan Experience” which usually entails wildlife theme decor that is often overdone and dated—at least my opinion. Communication with my host was great and the property was very clean and well stocked. The soaking tub was amazing after a long drive on day one and after a long bike ride on day two. It was about a 30 minute drive to downtown Talkeetna, if you want to explore shops, enjoy various restaurants, and take a hike or bike ride.

My stay was pleasant. The house was very clean and as described. Kitchen was equipped with everything you would need. Bed was super comfortable. We were notified 3-4 days before our stay that the fireplace was broken and can’t be used which was a bummer since we were really looking forward to the fireplace experience (because we don’t have a fireplace in our house). However, with a heater, the house stayed warm in the first week of October when we stayed.
