"Charming old home in a great central location, quiet neighborhood. Chic decor, comfy beds, clean, well-stocked with everything we needed. The back yard is absolutely divine and we loved relaxing in the salt water pool."

"Double Shot on Main is a good location when visiting the Bourbon Trail. The house is clean and in a quiet area of town. There were four adults in our group and we had plenty of space not to be crowded. The outdoor area was nice while the weather was cool enough to enjoy it."

"The code was showing on the wall next to the door which made us feel less than safe. I tried to contact the owner and he never responded. The sofa smelt like someone peed in it. The bedroom close to the kitchen had a mold smell. But the most worrying issue was the shower that was in the bathtub was on a platform with no rail to hold on to in order to get out safely. Otherwise we enjoyed the house."

"This historic home is in the best neighborhood in Lexington, right in the middle of other historic homes and walking distance to many great restaurants. It is nicely appointed, very clean, and very comfortable. The listing photos depict it very well. My family and I would stay here again."

"Great location to downtown Bardstown. Easy to get to. Positioned on quiet street. Clean, plenty of room inside. Future enhancement may be to put a small privacy fence, small patio and a couple chairs at back door."

"Our accommodations were wonderful. The house is much larger than it appears from the street. The finished basement gave a safe space for the children to play. The house was located close to anywhere we needed to go. The only thing is that the washer and dryer are not convenient to use due to placement but there are two of each in the house. The kitchen was fully stocked and the host supplied plenty of linens and items needed (toilet paper, trash bags, etc). We would definitely stay here again."

"What a clean, crisp modern home tucked into a sweet Kentucky neighborhood. We are from Chicago and drive to n.c. usually once a year. Our 1/2 way point is Kentucky and we've been doing it all wrong by getting hotel rooms for me, my husband, 3 kids under 12 and a dog. We enjoyed our stay so much that i believe we will try to spend more than just 1 passing night in Kentucky and actually make this stop a part of our family's vacation. Thank you. It was delightful. "Good value for stay in Lexington. We came in for our son’s soccer tournament and it was nice to all have our own room and have a fenced backyard for our dog. We took advantage of the location and did some shopping and eating downtown."

"The house was very clean, looked just like the pictures. Entry was easy. There weren’t any wash clothes that I could find or a paper telling us what to do before leaving…. So we did what we typically do when we stay other places. Also check the street view before you book. That street made us a little uncomfortable. But we didn’t have any issues with the neighbors. Over all it was fine for the 1 night we needed!"

"I met my 8 girlfriends from college in central Kentucky. The Havilah House was the perfect location for keeneland and bourbon tours and halfway between the bluegrass and Louisville airports. The house is comfortable and well stocked. The host was very responsive and answered our questions quickly. I would highly recommend it."
