We had an awesome, spacious room! It was nice to have breakfast daily, but options were limited and it was the same every day.

The breakfast had items you could mix into your yogurt which is great except that they had raisins and they had granola mixed with raisins and no granola without raisins.

Nice play to stay but overall facilities clearly built cheaply with minimal amenities and resources. Staff is helpful and cheerful.

I try to come to Williamstown once a year to visit friends and this is my first time staying at Fairfield. It’s an excellent option for a weekend visit. It’s very close to Williams College and Spring street. Convenient and free breakfast is a perk. Not a lot of options, but enough to get your day started. Will stay again next time I visit the town.

Loved the room, loved the hotel. I just wish the pool was open all night, you can only card in till 11 pm Most Best Western properties with pools keep the pool open 24 hrs.

This hotel is a good value for what you pay per night. My only complaint is that the breakfast buffet uses paper plates, paper cups, and plastic cutlery. This is not a cheap takeout place! Use real china and silverware.

Room was decent but shampoo container in bathroom was empty. Mold/mildew along the bottom edge of the shower and shower door. Breakfast was sub par. Fruit bowl looked dirty and soggy. Eggs didn’t taste like eggs. Dirty countertops at coffee area. No attendant present. Breakfast choices were not as depicted on the website picture. Very misleading. No recycling in breakfast area. Front desk was loud and unprofessional in manner and dress. During breakfast we could see and hear them laughing loudly. Guests were polite and quiet but the front desk was not.

The hotel itself was fine albeit extremely generic. Nothing really to complain about but the staff was a bit standoffish. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean, the shower had good water pressure.

Wonderful hotel. Nicely and comfortably furnished. Very clean. Very good breakfast. Would be better if you had an extra comfortable chair or soda in the room. There is plenty of space.

We were staying at the Fairfield property in Williamstown MA. It’s a new clean well run hotel with all the amenities. Our checkin was sched for Monday 7/3 at 4 pm. Our son is hiking the Appalachian Trail which crosses right through Williamstown. We made a plan with him to connect and get him into a hotel room for a night to clean, eat, sleep and wash and dry his clothing and gear. (It’s been raining for weeks in the East, he was a drown rat when we encountered him.) I called the hotel at 10:00 am on 7/3 to inquire if we could use the laundry facilities at the hotel even though I knew we could not check in til 4pm. The woman who answered , Bethany, could not have been nicer or more inviting, so we headed directly to the hotel expecting just to start laundry and cleaning and then to occupy ourselves til 4 pm. While at the desk inquiring and getting quarters for the coin op laundry machines the hotel manager, Mike, overheard the conversation about our son being an AT hiker, and he stepped out and with what seemed like the wave of a magic wand and kind words to our son about helping him get cleaned up and rested right away, we had 2 beautiful rooms with king beds, one for us one for our tired, wet, son. Mike saved the day, it was an act of kindness we’ll not ever forget. We were in our rooms by 10:30 am, and it made all the difference in the world to him and us. If you visit Williamstown, stay at this hotel and if you’re lucky you’ll meet Mike and Bethany, two kind people

Hard to find the place from the street. We drove by 3 times before we found it hidden back offroad. One tiny sign on the street, and every time we left the hotel and came back, it was still hard to find. Other than that, this place could be really nice, but for us it just became a collection of failures, any one of which was unacceptable. We rented a suite, which was of good size and comfortable. But on arrival, we found the fridge did not work, as it had about a 100-pound block of ice stuck inside. It was obvious that the room had been unoccupied for quite some time, and the staff admitted to that. The Wi-Fi did not work in the room, so we had to go to the lobby for access, and even that was very spotty and unreliable. The HVAC in the room would constantly shut itself off after only a few minutes of operation, and often the AC would switch itself over to heat and it would become unbearable in the room. The staff said sorry, it is an updated system and they are still working on it. The sink in the bathroom was so plugged up that it would not drain at all, even when filled up to the overflow. 3rd day we got that fixed, and as soon as we used it, found out that the plumber had not properly reconnected the drain piping and the water ran out all over the floor. For luggage carts, they had these little 3-wheeled carts that could hold nothing and would tip over if too loaded, requiring 3 trips to load and unload. Shower curtain was foot too short to cover the shower.??

The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The hotel is well situated. The common areas and breakfast arrangement are satisfactory. We had an enjoyable visit and experienced no issues.
