Found it was too religious. I don't mind that as I am a Christian, but for some people who are not it could come across as forcing them into religion. Should have been indicated that it was a religious 'village'.

I was unaware it was a religious retreat. Found the whole religious theme unnerving. Then, we were billed an extra $50 plus dollars for each room told that Hotels.com price was wrong. We left at 7:30AM and got out of there.

I wish we had been able to spend longer here - couldn't even tell there was a big school tour group there. Solid breakfast over stunning valley views.

Bella camera all'interno di una fattura gestita da religiosi, un vero e proprio campus enorme. Bellissima vista sul mare dal terrazzo, colazione molto buona. Prezzo ottimo per la soluzione, due stanze con totale di 5 posti letto. In camera né riscaldamento né wi-fi (è nell'area colazione)

Home away from home

The views are breath-taking. ...little bit of heaven, especially from our rpom.We loved the peaceful atmosphere and the quietness of the place . The staff is very friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that Carmel is based on Christian values...loved the evening devotions.
