Although we used the hotel as a base, we could have easily have spent more time around the hotel pool. The hotel room was very clean, large and comfortable. "I was looking forward to wonderful weekend away but the hotel just does not live up to its pictures, maybe it did 10 years ago. The hotel needs a serious refurb as well as the grounds of the hotel. The pool is definitely not this clean and blue as in the pictures anymore - it needs a paint job and a proper clean. The bed I slept in made such a noise when you moved, it was terrible. The carpets were so marked, it was gross. The whole experience staying at the hotel freaked me out and I wont be...

"One of our most favorite stays. Definitely I place to stay several nights if you have the time. Owners live at property and take immaculate care of the extensive garden .
