Our stay was ok for the most part. After 10pm, people hanging out in their cars playing that boom boom on the radio, no one came to shut it down. Also no towels were in our room.

This is a good value for the price. It's small and the property has no amenities such as breakfast or a pool. No coffeemakers. But again, for the price, it's a great value and the rooms have fridge & microwave. It was quiet and clean and the staff was friendly. The location is not really "near" anything although the town is small and it doesn't take more than a few minutes to drive to a restaurant or a gas station.

Hotel website says this motel has "breakfast" and a "Pool" There was NO breakfast.....Not even coffee. There wasn't anyone in the motel office until after 8:00 AM....Motel pool looked like it had been filled in with dirt for years.....Breakfast and pool are the main reasons I chose to stay there. Very dissapointed!

This hotel is a good value for the cost. No frills but if you just need a place to sleep and shower, this is a good option. I had some issues with my keys-they quit working and it took a few tries to get updated keys that would work, but the employee was friendly and helpful re: this issue. The area around the property is no fault of the hotel; no one going to the city of Vernon should expect much.

Beware: Bed Bugs and Terrible Service

My recent stay at the Budget Host Inn was extremely disappointing and unpleasant. The room I was assigned had bed bugs, which not only disrupted my sleep but also left me with itchy bites that affected my entire business trip. The front desk staff were unhelpful and dismissive when I reported the issue, showing a complete lack of concern for guest welfare. The poor service extended to every interaction I had with the staff, who were unresponsive and seemed uninterested in addressing my complaints. Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to the unsanitary conditions and abysmal customer service.

Absolutely don't stay here!!! Killed a cockroache in the room and noticed dead cockroaches and bugs in the ceiling lights when I turned them on. The shower curtain is stained and looks like it's 20 years old. The place smells very bad! Trust me you won't get a good nights sleep. The place should be torn down. The main office also smells bad!!!

It's an older building but it's been redone - new paint, etc. The room was very clean. Parking was great. The one guy in the office was very pleasant and quickly checked us in. No coffee pot in the room, but was on site. Our only problem was the A/C - it didn't work well at all. There was a fan and it helped. That's the only thing that kept it from being a excellent rating.
