"I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. The toilet in my initial room was clogged, and no one assisted me until the following day. Maintenance came out four separate times but was unable to fix the issue. On the second day, I was moved to another room; however, I did not receive any housekeeping service for the remainder of my stay. Whenever I requested towels, staff would tell me they were not assigned to my area and that I needed to contact the front desk. Unfortunately, the front desk rarely answered calls, and when I was finally able to reach someone, it took a long time for assistance to arrive. My room door was opened while I was in the shower. Additionally, I informed the excursions staff that I was booked through Expedia, but my Expedia points were never applied. Overall, the lack of responsiveness, poor communication, and unresolved maintenance issues made for a frustrating experience."

"This was a great stay for my friends and I. It is a quaint black owned family business. The staff were very friendly and helpful and tried to cater to all of our needs. The breakfast we ordered and ate was absolutely scrumptious. The Wi-Fi was not the greatest at times but, we understood that due to the storm some parts of the island has no Wi-Fi or electricity. That being said, having a lack of Wi-Fi gave us an opportunity to have actual conversations with other guest and a chance to rejuvenate and actually digitally detox. It was tranquil and relaxing. I would definitely be back again."

"The compound is very nice. However, when I arrived the room that l reserved was not available and the person who was attending me did not have any knowledge of my reservation. We had to wait about 45 minutes before we were informed that that room was not available and will have to be switched to another location. It took awhile for the room to be ready, but once that issue was resolved the gentleman was apologetic and we were satisfied. Just hoping that any future reservations with be Jano in a more professional manner. Overall the accommodation was well worth it. "

"The place was in good condition but there were many issues. When we were searching for a place to stay, we came across this host and we had asked if there were any damages from the hurricane. The host confirmed that there wasn’t any and it was perfectly fine. First issue, the lights were not working in the bedroom hallway, the laundry room and in the bathroom. The bathroom light was always flickering and we had to keep it off most times. There is a mirror that had a surrounding light that we kept on for the 10 days. Second issue, no live tv. Third issue, the a/c does not work in the bedroom, we had to use the a/c in the living to cool the bedroom, and mind you the areas are separated (closed off). Fourth issue, the shower head is HORRIBLE as little to no water comes out. We had to use the hand held shower head all the time which is a huge inconvenience especially if you need to wash your hair. Also, if you are travelling with a group of people there is only 1 coffee mug and no coffee maker. The building it self is nice but has been affected by the hurricane and you would not be able to use a lot of the amenities such as the hot tub, theatre, the game room and the conference room. The gym is NOT GREAT as they only have one cardio machine for such a big building (spin bike) and only one strength machine. The weights start at 15lbs. (Please be advised that the fridge selves are HORRIBLE as they slide out very easily and WILL break)."

"First off, thank you for accomodation, you have been very helpful, the location is very central for entertainment, shopping, dining, very necessary for persons who are particular about there spendings, budget wise. Very affordable, and quite private.... The pool based on how the weather was i wasnt able to experience that but there were circumstances that beyond anyones control, damn you hurricane Melissa, blessings to all persons presently there stay positive, positive vibrations always. On the apartment itself i believe an adjustment can be made for the entrance of the door because of the direction of the wind the rain was slowly entering under the door...other than that, me being the person I am thats a small issue but maybe creating an adjustment can definitely make anyone else even more happy and satisfied. Very clean room, everything necessary for a short term stay, i recommend to anyone! One more thing is locating the actual location wasnt hard but for first timers aswell as myself would prefer a the actual name of the place, website says ironshore luxury studios, but when i got there it also said Angel Havens having that on the website would be very helpful.
