"My stay here was during Hurricane Melissa so things were different for us. Our first two days on the resort were amazing before the storm hit. The private beach, pools, swim up bar were all amazing, staff was great, very kind and beautiful people. The food was 4/10 only because it was bland and lacked seasoning but I think they make it that way to accommodate all people, there was a good variety though. The staff did great during and after the storm in my opinion, they were definitely prepared for Melissa. Our trip was extended from 4 to 9 days, we had to travel to Kingston to get back to the US it was definitely a vacation for the books! "

"I would say the hospitality from the entire work staff was impeccable, even though we were there at possibly the worst time in history during hurricane Melissa the staff made sure that everyone was safe and well taken care of outside of the fact of us not having any running water or air-conditioning. We had food and shelter. The resort also make sure logistically that everything was accommodated for."

"I unfortunately was victim of Hurricane Melissa and spent my vacation as well as many extended days in Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. Although I was not able to enjoy my vacation to its full potential due to the weather circumstances, I wouldn't have chosen a better hotel to stay at during those difficult times. Words would not be able to describe the gratitude and how appreciative I am for the entire team that took care of us. From the staff, to the manager (Keneve), and the GM Adrian. They were very attentive and gave it their all despite the circumstances. Amazing people, amazing food, amazing entertainment, and a beautiful establishment. Had things been different, I know this would have been the ultimate vacation. "Everything was good the food staff was very friendly even when the hurricane was blowing they make sure we all get take care even when the hotel get lots of badly damaged they still make us feel well come catalonia is the best i will come again when they rebuild "

"The property was amazing! There were 8 of us and we had an awesome time! Daily housekeeping was an added bonus. We hired the chef for a birthday dinner and the food was delicious and was reasonably priced. The beach is not within walking distance and the transfer to beach is not included that would have been a nice perk. We did feel safe at the house. Because I’ve been to Jamaica before I did have transportation for excursions. We did use hospitality experts for our airport transfer which includes a trip to the grocery store, this was seamless once I got the Zelle "
