Beautiful place close to the Glacier National Park

This was a great place to come baxk to at the end of a day in the park. We ate all our meals here as the place had everything you need for cooking. Linda was a great hostess and even had a cozy campfire waiting for us when we got back to the house our last night there. Loved it!

The house is filled with just about anything you might need and so much more. Comfortable inside and a peaceful landscape outside. Linda is a fabulous host and I have a new friend!

This was our second time staying at the Bed N Bale. The location worked perfectly for our group of family and friends for a weekend in Whitefish and Glacier NP. The property was conveniently located..close enough to town for runs to the grocery store but far enough to feel quiet and secluded with access to trails right from the rental. Linda was always available and helpful if needed. Definitely recommended.

I would highly recommend this property, it's absolutely beautiful inside and out. The hosts have so many surprises for you, it was like being at home and they have thought of everything making your experience perfect. I can't give away their surprises I just hope you notice all of them.

We were beyond happy with our stay! Linda and Dave are the most gracious hosts. The property has everything you could need - a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels and information about the area including Glacier NP. We felt like we were coming home every evening after spending the day in the park or hanging out at the beach by Whitefish Lake. The location is central to everything in the Flathead Valley. It is such an amazing, beautiful area. This is a complete 10 out of 10 property. Thank you so much for making our vacation a wonderful memory!

We had a wonderful stay at Bailey's BednBale. The house was comfortable and cabin-y, just what we were looking for for our Montana adventure. We enjoyed sitting at the large table outside and watching the chickens. The house is not too far from downtown Whitefish and relatively close to Glacier. Linda was so welcoming and added lots of special touches throughout the house. We would definitely stay again!

The property was beautiful, and the house was immaculately clean. The owners really go above and beyond with providing special extras-hot chocolate and cider for kids, fresh farm eggs, a fire in the fire pit on our arrival, even a bag with masks and hand sanitizer. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds were very comfortable. Amazing job at decorating-we felt like the effort one puts into their own home was put into this house. We had a very comfortable stay. The only drawback was that it is a little bit far from Glacier National Park (30-40 min drive each way).

The farmhouse is beautiful and has everything you need to make your stay in Whitefish enjoyable. Linda is friendly and responsive, and offers excellent advice. She makes you feel at home! The property is gorgeous with excellent seating areas outside and lots of beautiful flowers. The cows and chickens are definitely a highlight. There is a lot of room inside - plenty of sleeping choices, a well stocked kitchen, and accommodating bathrooms. Everything is clean! Getting to the surrounding areas is easy. We definitely recommend staying here!

Enter as strangers leave as friends does not do Linda justice. She is now family! She literally made everything about our trip the best ever! We were staying there for our sons wedding and were asked at the last minute to handle food. Linda helped us with area suggestions that could help and so much more. There isn’t enough room to put into words how absolutely amazing Bailey’s Bed and Bale is but you will not regret staying here at all!

Thank you Linda and Dave for sharing your beautiful Bed n Bale with us. You prepared for us like honored guests and then treated us as friends. We loved every minute of our visit. We hiked all day, each day in Glacier and found it so comfortable and peaceful to return each evening. We used the porch every morning for breakfast and games:) and even one evening for steaks on the grill. Linda literally thinks of everything! The place couldn’t be better stocked! We all hope to return one day and stay closer to the bed n bale!!

We loved our accommodations at Bailey's Bed & Vale...the house was warm and inviting, spacious with everything you could need, plus much more. Our hostess, Linda was incredibly gracious....we loved having farm fresh eggs and she thoughtfully provided us with homemade apple butter and vanilla pears as well as a welcome basket of "nibbles" which was much appreciated after our long trip. The property was also beautiful...like being in the middle of a lush clearing, surrounded by forest and yet we were very close to town and conveniently located close to Glacier National Park. I would highly recommend this home...can't wait to go back! Sabrina and Frank Hernandez

The pictures of this house do not do it justice! I have pretty high standards when it comes to renting houses. It is very cute, warm, roomy, and inviting inside. It is well stocked with everything you might need. Linda is a fantastic host who graciously showed us her property and animals. She also provided us with fresh eggs, homemade jam, and other goodies. We loved feeding the cows, seeing the chickens and enjoying the fire pit which was made for us every evening of our stay. It was wonderful having our own porch to sit on while enjoying coffee in the mornings. We would definitely come stay again!

Bed N Bale was the best VRBO we have ever stayed at. It was meticulously designed, furnished, and outfitted with everything needed from kitchen utensils to beach towels and everything in between. The location was perfect just 10 mins outside the city of Whitefish, but with the full feel of the country. Linda and Dave were friendly and responsive but not intrusive which added the right touch of Montana charm. The on property animals (Highland cattle, chickens, and even a local deer family) added to the experience as well, without any issues with noise. An added bonus was that the welcoming owners were able to accommodate us last minute even though they were getting ready for their own travels. We will definitely stay here in the future whether it be with family, other couples, or for my wife an all-girls getaway with friends

We stayed with Linda at her wonderful farm in Whitefish in August. We booked almost a year out - and had plenty of good communication back and forth. There were 6 adults and 1 child - and plenty of room for everyone. I've never stayed in such a well-equipped VRBO - from kitchenware to spices to bath products. Our granddaughter particularly loved the two Highland cows and the chickens and dog running around. And her husband graciously lit a fire for us for s'mores. Just about 10 minutes outside of Whitefish - this was an excellent family retreat. Linda lives right on the property in another home and pops over to check on everything regularly. Great choice when you're in Glacier.

This property was the best of our trip! Linda was very responsive and fun. House was immaculate and very well stocked - even with fresh farm eggs. Loved feeding the streets and watching the chickens roam. Great location close to charming downtown Whitefish. We will definitely return!

This large home is a wonderful place for a vacation stay. It has plenty of space and all the things you need! Linda is very attentive to her guests needs and checked in frequently to be sure everything was going well. We especially loved the quiet, peaceful location and the opportunity to be a part of the farm - feeding the animals and collecting eggs:-). Thank you, Linda, for a sharing your little corner of heaven! the Austins and Muis

This was the perfect property for our trip. Linda is the best host we have had in 7 years of VRBO-ing. Fresh eggs, the friendliest hairy highlander cow, wonderful beds and luxurious sheets, and homemade huckleberry jam made our home base experience over the top. 30 minutes from airport, 45 from park interest, 10 minutes from Whitefish restaurants., great location. We would book again.

This was our favorite place to stay on our trip west! We did not have enough time to stay here and wish we could have made it last longer. The lodging was cozy with lots of character! We had plenty of space and slept eight of us very comfortably. We hope to come back and visit soon! Linda was a gracious host and we are grateful for the great memories!

Bailey's Bed & Bale is a secluded, quiet mountain and farm retreat. We enjoyed everything about our 4-day stay: the rustic log construction interior and its personalized lived-in character with everything you could possibly need. It felt like you were living in someone's house, not a rental property. We enjoyed roaming the grounds, feeding the cows, playing with the dog, watching the chickens strut around, and spotting an occasional deer in the yard. Linda was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations for places to eat or things to do. Prior to our visit she gave us notice about entry passes for Glacier National Park and getting a rental car reserved early because of the shortage. Her hospitality and friendliness made our visit feel like we were visiting family. Hopefully we will make a return visit to Whitefish and get to stay here again!

This is a beautiful house and a wonderful property. If you are looking for a cozy, secluded place to stay, this is your spot. The location is great. Less than 10 minutes to Whitefish and an easy 20-30 minute drive to Glacier. Linda is a gracious host and did everything she could to make sure we felt right and home. We will definitely stay here again!

We had the perfect getaway at the bednbale. It’s been my dad’s dream to go to Montana for forever and we could not have asked for a better experience. We enjoyed the bednbale so much that we found it hard to leave. Linda was an amazing host. She stocked our fridge with fresh chicken eggs, homemade huckleberry jam, and left us a gift basket. She also brought us over some homemade salsa. She asked us how we slept and really made sure we were all entertained. Honestly one of the best bnb experiences I’ve ever had. We also loved feeding their Scottish highland cows. Don’t even hesitate just book with bednbale. You won’t regret it. It took us about 40 min to get to the GNP west entrance and the drive is very pretty.
