"Was not able to check in and the funds were charged on my credit card, the host acted like he was trying to help me by calling Expedia and said they were going to call me back, never received a call back from Expedia and had to call them Back after my 2 night stay. Very disappointed with Expedia, it was a terrible communication they could have tried harder to contact me so that I could resolve the issue quicker."

"It was a very fun experience! The area is very nice and everyone is very friendly ! Would recommend getting a new fridge ( doesn’t keep drinks cold ) and also add proper blinds or curtains for the windows as the sun shines in all day and inside became over 35 C with the air conditioner on sometimes ! Would also recommend more fans if a better AC unit cannot be installed .Property manager was great. Would come back again!"

"This beautiful cottage on Barrow Bay is divine. The location is fantastic as it is right on the lovely Georgian Bay side of the Bruce Peninsula. The views are stunning of the Lions Head and the Cape Dundas. The water is turquoise. A short 7 kilometers to Lions Head Town.The cottage is a 3 story walkout with a balcony overlooking the Bay. "The bed was firm. Room was nicely decorated and very clean. Towels are way too thin. We were in the room next to the door to the stairwell and it has a very loud closure, as well as hearing everyone talking going in and out. The TV was tricky to figure out. Overall, great value for the room!"

"First of all we were not impressed by the fact that the motel permitted, even facilitates guests to smoke within 9 metres of the main entrance as well as on the patio areas outside of the rooms. According to the Ontario government's website there us to be no smoking within 9 metres of an entrance or windows. Several times we had to walk by people smoking and often they were blocking passage from the parking lot to the from door. Appreciate the mobility accessibility of the room yet challenges at all doors as they are manually operated. Given that it's 2026 having automatic doors, even ones operating by button would be expected. The room was clean, spacious and appears to be recently renovated /decorated. Bathroom is spacious though the tub not accessible for a person un a wheelchair. Overall a good place to stay and reasonably priced."

"This is a beautiful property with nice cottage touches within the interior. View from the window is stunning. It was very clean and well laid out. It has a well stocked kitchen and a nice quiet neighbourhood. Communication with the host was so efficient and friendly. Immediate responses. There were some damaged stones on the exterior patio that could be a concern but lots of chairs and outdoor seating. Gorgeous waterfront"
