"We stayed the night fire my husband’s graduation. I picked this hotel as the pictures were stunning and it did not disappoint! The room was large and beautifully decorated, the bed was huge and comfortable. We were in the very top of the hotel in room 12 with the low door to enter and we loved it. We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and couldn’t fault it. We were up and out early the next day but had time for a quick cooked breakfast to set us up for the day. "Stayed one night as it is close to my old school for a reunion. I stayed in the Pig Room. Apparently being in a farming area, each room has an animal instead of a room number. To all those who have stayed in the Pig Room, you will understand. The shelving is in the wrong place as is the TV. Swop the TV and shelving around and your guests would not have to strain to see the TV. Also the TV is painfully small. My biggest complaint was the bed. It was so low. Almost a futon. OK for young...

"It is the second time in a couple of weeks that I stayed here. Checking in and out simple and fast. Staff very friendly. I stayed in two different rooms and both were clean and comfortable. Tv and Wi Fi reception also very good. I would go back againg."

"The rooms are very comfortable, once you have passed through the hallway. The inn was quiet in the evening and convenient to the Iron Bridge and to the Bedlam furnaces. There are more nice walks across the river. Both the evening meal and the more-than-full English breakfast were excellent! "

"It was a nice stat however the rooms, whilst nice, need a little attention. The grouting of tiles in bathroom need a good scrub and the sofa arms had dust. It wasn’t great being woken at 7am on Sunday morning by bins being moved around. "

"We was meant to stay here I booked a room with double & 2 singles, when I got the confirmation it stated 1 double 1 sofa bed the property made the mistake, after calling hotels.com to try to resolve I got nowhere, so I had no choice but to book another property. After booking another property I then get a call from this property saying they made a mistake. Hotels.com wouldn’t refund me. So I asked the property to refund me which was short by £20 odd pounds. So overall not a good experience "
