The apartment was big enough for our needs, great location. The interior could do with some updating

12a Scores by House Church Street Whitby

This property is a first floor apartment. Entry is at ground level but there is no ground floor. Parking is temporarily on the pavement to unpack the car, then Ropery Lane up a hill behind the property. We had a long flight of steps back to the front door. Inside needed refurbishment: kitchen cupboard doors cheap plastic covering already damaged; strings for blinds were up near the ceiling; bunk bedroom blind came down but could not get it to roll up; air quality bad on a main road; view of harbour very good but windows had not been cleaned for some time; shower controls VERY stiff to turn on or off! toilet seat loose; heavily tea stained mugs; difficult to open key box which we and property manager found difficult to lock again.
