About the home
Newly updated two bedroom two bathroom condo. Relax in the cabin style living room or on the patio overlooking views of Mount Sproatt. The master bedroom offers the option of 2 twin beds OR 1 king bed with an en-suite bathroom. The default set up is as a king bed, please make a request prior to your arrival if you would like it set as two twins. The second bedroom has a queen bed & patio access.

Located at the base of Blackcomb Mountain, and only a short walk or free shuttle ride from the lifts and the Village, the Wildwood Lodge is one of Whistler's great affordable condo-hotels; featuring an outdoor heated pool (summer only) with breathtaking mountain views, and a huge outdoor hot tub. Shared laundry and secure ski/snowboard and bike storage are available. The underground parkade has two level-2 EV Charging Stations (C$1.50/hour).

Each property comes with one free parking spot in the secure underground parkade and there is a limited amount of visitor parking spots.
⌂ No smoking, no pets, no parties, no bikes permitted inside units, minimum booking age of 25.
⌂ Base occupancy is 4 adults and max occupancy is 6 adults. The fifth and the sixth adult pay C$35 per night per person. Children under 12 years old stay free of charge.
⌂ This home does not have air conditioning. Portable fans are provided in each bedroom and the living area.
⌂ Pack 'N Play & High Chairs are available for rentals by request.
⌂ If you want to have the king bed set as two twins upon your arrival, please let us know as soon as you finalize your booking. Requests made at a later time may be subject to a fee.

Comfortable, clean condo with enough space for our party of four. Small, but well equipped kitchen. Laundry facilities in complex. Convenient parking garage. Quiet location.

Fabulous

Fabulous location for us. We find the village too noisy for us at night, so this location suited perfectly. It's an easy walk down to Blackcomb and onward to Whistler Village. The condo was explained perfectly, plenty of dinner service and utensils. Really was like a home from home for our stay and we would recommend to everyone

Place was great. Nice clean condo. Confortable bed. Great pool and hot-tub. Walkable to all at Whistler. Only negative was that front desk staff was not helpful. Could not be bothered to answer basic questions, such as, “can you point me in the direction of my unit”? Otherwise the place was great. Just don't expect anything from staff.

i wish there was a book with all the instructions and information so all guests could read and consult the info rather than the QR code requiring a passcode that was sent to me and i had to communicate with other people.. it looks fancy but it is not that practical but this is really a detail. The place was great , the kitchen well stocked and very close to blackcomb mountain base as well as groceries and shops.

Pros: - Great location: super close and walkable to Blackcomb and Whistler (~5-10 min walk to Blackcomb lifts and ~20 min trek if you wanted to carry your equipment to the Whistler lifts) - Very comfortable bed - Nice water pressure - Communicative hosts with clear instructions Cons: - distinct smell in the condo that was difficult to get rid of given poor ventilation (wet fur? old building smell?) - mostly clean but not neat: the bedskirts were very messy - TV was very old and it's very small - not great for family wanting to watch a movie together - thin walls - can definitely hear everything going on in the hallways Overall would recommend if you're a bigger group and/or want to cook. Honestly if we were to go back to Whistler we might stick with hotel. The food in the area is great so we didn't find ourselves using the kitchen at all.

We really enjoyed the suite. A bit dated but well equipped and extremely clean. Our ground floor suite had a nice patio that we were unable to fully utilize. The exterior of the building was being painted and a ladder amd worker were on our patio for both full days we had. It woukd have been preferable to know this in advance since we may have chosen a different property. The garage is small although some still put pickups in there. Be prepared for a 10 point turn to get in and out of a spot.

Small, dated but comfortable beds and just fine for a boys trip!

Overall we were fine with the stay. "Boys Trip" with myself, 2 kids, and father. Rooms are super tiny with nowhere to put clothes or your luggage. I couldn't imagine 6 people staying there. Beds and linens comfortable, two showers helped with our group of 4. Showers went cold fast, so stagger your showers... not sure if its a water heater for just the unit or the complex.It is "steps" to Blackcomb, but quite a bit of them. Seems about 1/2 a mile at least. A bit much for ski boots for a 65 year old who ended up shuttling home, but our kids and myself were fine with it.Pool was closed unfortunately, that bummed the kids out, but I did know that when booking. Hot tub was great and super close to our room.Our fireplace with inoperable... they told me after we already booked so it was too late to book a new place. I didn't think it was too big of a deal but you do rely on that fireplace a lot with cold, wet, and soggy boots and gloves.Management company was great, and right on site daily so that was awesome.Overall, probably wouldn't stay here again but it worked out fine. For the price i'd get a place right on the hill that's a bit larger, with some storage for clothes, and with a pool that is operable during the winter.
