kitchen bright overnight so bright in the room where there are 2 single beds - might be useful to get some curtains for those windows. Noisy next door neighbours checking in late.

A Good Night Sleep
The room size was great for two people and the host was extremely kind to barricate his dog inside. The area is very quite and I was able to get a good night sleep.The cockroaches inside the room definitely put me off a bit but the overall stay was good.

Winter In Whangarei.
Room was clean and tidy. Bed had an electric blanket that was needed in winter. Kitchen was adequate. Overall stay was pleasant and staff were friendly.

Nice, tidy unit in a great location.
Nice friendly service. Proabably not the flashist place in town but totally adequate and great value for money. We thought that road noise would be an issue but this was not the case at all. Close to town and handy having a shop just across the road and a lovely cafe 100m away.

Burgundy Rose was fine for what I needed. Ended up in a room that slept 5 even though it was only me for business. Some of it was a little tired but clean enough.

Pleasantly Surprised
Pleasantly surprised at quality we got for $100 per night. Unit was modern and clean. Was not in the heart of the city but only a 5 minute drive to centre of Whangarei.

Nice motel in a nice location.
Good stop over destination on return from Paihia on the way to Auckland. Reasonably busy location, but traffic noise not loud enough to interfere with sleeping.

Stay was pleasant. The bathroom needs some minor attention. Staff member I dealt with has a bad sense of humour. I asked him if I should pay when I checked in or checked out? he replied " now, other wise we might have to send some one around to knee cap you". What a horrible thing to say to anyone as well as unprofessional. (not to mention I was with my children)

Very reasonable pricing, room looked pristine but showed signs of neglected maintenance, not critical but just felt it could do with some minor repair. Vinyl under kitchen sink falling away and card board used for wall repair in WC looks tacky. I will stay again.

Disappointing cleanliness
Have stayed before and it was good, hence the second visit. This time the floors looked unclean, the duvets had questionable stains which needed washing and the blanket looked like someone had been murdered in it.

Very helpful people!
Comfortable room, not a sound from the railway close by and very friendly people to deal with. The service staff turned the fridge off and I had to throw away the chicken and ham that was in there. - That's the only reason I'm not giving a 5/5 rating. I will go back and maybe put a sign up above the switch for the cleaners if there isn't one already.
