Great house but difficult access.
We were very happy with all aspects of the property except for the driveway up to the house. It was in bad condition. Winding, very steep in parts and had deep ruts in the surface making driving difficult. We would have appreciated knowing this before we considered booking.

What an amazing place, surrounded by native bush with fantastic seascapes. Kiwis and More pork's calling at night and amazing birds Amazing Bays right there handy…. We LOVED our stay @ 14 Bay View Rd Whangarei Heads. Absolutely recommend “Seaclusion” So for all you bush babies out there this is a MUST!!!

Location, location, location
What an awesome spot to spend with special people in your life. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Everything you need is supplied, close to great beaches, fishing spots & and even a friendly clubroom within walking distance. Completely enjoyed our stay & highly recommend.

Peace and quiet
The house was beautifully positioned with the best views to be taken in from both inside and out. The house was clean and everything in his working order. We loved our stay and if ever we're back in this area we'd definitely pick this place again.

Omg! We had the best experience at this beautiful property, the access to the house was just so stunning & was super easy to navigate. The views were to die for & the pub down the road was amazing. Amazing views and seclusion
Great holiday home central to everything in the Heads. Be sure to get to Smugglers cove for a visit. Close to eating places as well. A very enjoyable place to relax and watch the boats from the balcony.

Absolutely stunning
Myself and my small family (partner and adult son) stayed at this magical piece of paradise for one week. What a fabulous getaway! The views are incredible (the photos really don't do them justice), the house was well equipped with everything we needed and super comfortable. Fantastic communications from our host who was very friendly and easy to deal with. Great value for money too! All round we had a magnificent short holiday and would love to stay again.

Dreamy Whangarei Head adventure base
This house makes a perfect base for day tripping around the Whangarei Heads area. Whether it’s hikes, beaches or caving you’re after, there’s plenty on offer. It’s roomy with spectacular views and full kitchen facilities which makes self catering easy.

Very impressed with this batch. Amazing location perfect location if you are here for all the hikes :) One thing I was really impressed with was that they clearly listened to past reviews & added spare pillows & heaps of blankets! Really impressed with the amount of blankets it’s rare that batches have this luxury :) gorgeous views what an amazing place to wake up! The only annoying thing was that the manual told us what to do with the recycling but not the normal rubbish so we didnt know what to do with it Suggestions for improvements (this did not affect our stay at all) would be a manual for the heat pump as it took us a while to figure out, & a manual for the oven (for idiots like us, we burnt our pizza haha) & some bigger mugs for tea. Some better more supportive pillows would be a great addition. The bed light to the left of the room with the double bed doesn’t work & a light bulb gone in the showeroom has gone too. But other than that, spot on! Can’t wait to bring my parents here when they visit from the UK thank you SO much!

Wow, when the wind got up, the whole place shook. We were lucky that breaks in the winter storminess gave up chances to walk up Mt Manaia, visit Smugglers' beach etc. One improvement would be more heating options than just the heat pump. Lovely place, nestled in the Bush, good for a reviving break from Auckland.

The Great Little Escape
A must have place to check into if staying in Whangarei. Is within 15mins of everything, i.e. hikes, beaches, pub and can walk to one of the best mounts to watch either the sunrise or set (just don't forget your flashlight) The house has everything you need to cook with, so shop big and you can avoid the shops for the duration of your trip like we did as we brought all the food we needed on day zero. Enjoy

Seaclusion and seclusion
Secluded, up a long gravel driveway - yet easy enough towing a 6.5m boat. Plenty of parking awaits. Walk along the boardwalk amid the treetops to your accommodation. Simple, very clean, comfortable and spacious. All while looking out over the native forest to the ocean of Whangarei Heads.

Loved the secluded experience!
This is a cosy bach, quite secluded as was promised on the website - and this was an experience we really enjoyed. The water view was amazing and we could not take our eyes off it! Living arrangements were good, with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable space for the two of us. Thank you!

Amazing views n nice location
Nice house with well stocked kitchen. We appreciated the covered conservatory style deck which is great if it’s too hot or cold on open deck. The Parua country club is about 400m away and great for nice everyday dinners (Friday and Saturday s) members are very friendly and happy to chat. Parua Bay tavern is fantastic but about 10km away. If you’re energetic make sure u climb Mt Mainai ( great track which includes about 1000 steps). Fit types about 1 hour up and 40 minutes down. Take your own pillow to the house. Great otherwise. : )

Sarah & Ryan, We absolutely enjoyed our stay, the place was nice and clean and tidy, the view is amazing, the Morepork in the Kauri tree at night an added bonus. The only thing we missed was some sort of clothes line to hang some wet clothes on to dry. If we came up this way again we would stay again and we would recommend it to anyone else.
