"Mark and Damon were wonderful host. They made you feel like you were part of their family. The location was easy walking distance to downtown Franklin. The neighborhood was very safe and friendly. The screened in patio was a favorite place for morning coffee and late evening reading. Their place was very pet friendly and our King Charles cavalier enjoyed the open space. "The house was exactly what we are expecting. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend. The screened in porch was a favorite of our. We sat out there every there every night. I loved that the bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials. I would difinity stay there again. "

"Wonderful little house in Franklin Tennessee. Everything was new and there was lots of attention to detail. The deck and the fire pit in the backyard were enjoyed with a s’mores kit ready for us. Sheets and towels were excellent quality. Highly recommend it."

"This was the easiest access to a property I have experienced, which is so nice after traveling all day! This propery is accesesed through dirt, gravel, steep winding roads. Which is what we expected for this more secluded area. We were prepared and brought the cherokee. Not a necessity, but made it easier. We arrived at night and found that motion sensing lights on the property lit up right where we needed them, which was great! The ondoor space is very nice. There is a wood burning fireplace, portable radiant heater, and mini split. The upstairs is a loft with 2 adult and 2 kid beds. We were able to move them around easily to accomodate our needs. The kids and my husband had fun with the pacman game up there.We did not find anything that we needed, that wasn't provided. The back porch is elevated above the woods, has seating, including a rocker and a power outlet. We explored the woods and enjoyed the walking trails. There were deer, chipmunks, and a beautiful bard owl hanging around. This time of year the walnuts and acorns are dropping, and can startle in the middle of the night when landing on the roof. But was oart of the charm of beeing out of the city and fully in nature. We were able to drive to stores, restaurants, and to Nashville in reasonable amounts of time. I wish our stay was longer. Truly enjoyed this peaceful place."

"Dark Horse Manor is a grand estate, very large rooms and every bedroom has an ensuite. This estate is really unique - you will never find another property like it! The grounds are so beautiful, private and- quiet. Yet, it is just 10 -15 minutes from grocery stores, etc. We were allowed to bring a very well trained standard poodle with us - he is a therapy dog. Our House Manager, Austin, lives on the property and was there to help us in minutes of our text to him. It was a wonderful place for a family gathering. "
