The property was great for our girls weekend! We loved coming back to the property after a day out exploring Franklin. The space is perfect for a family or small group and can comfortably accommodate 5 people. The yard and property begged to be enjoyed. Staying here made our visit more enjoyable and we loved getting to meet Mark and Damon!

The Generals Quarters was located behind a beautiful historic home in a lovely neighborhood. We had everything we needed, and a lot of room to move around. We especially loved the sunny dining area!

Visit to Franklin

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely retreat cottage. Very clean and in a perfect location to walk into town, or walk your pet around the beautiful, quiet neighborhoods. Mark and Damon are very accommodating and I highly recommend staying here.Mary T

Franklin Girls Trip

Mr. Mark met us at the car and helped unload our luggage into the cottage. The cottage is so cute and we had more than plenty of room. The neighborhood was a gem. We loved how close we were to all the shops and how quiet it was. We hope to stay there again

Well we won the lottery with this place. Location, cleanliness, amenities, not to mention the host on site welcoming us with a loaf of banana bread. Trust me you will not be sorry!

Perfect weekend!

This guesthouse was the perfect place for my mother, sister and me as we celebrated our mom's birthday. We had plenty of room and the house is totally charming. We loved having breakfast in the sunroom and relaxing on the screen porch. We struggled with the TV our first night and Damon was right there to help us. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It will be perfect for you too!

Nice location

My teacher friends and I enjoyed our stay during the PumpkinFest in Franklin, TN. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the screened in back porch during our stay.

Great cottage

Lovely and roomy. Instructions were clear. Bed was very comfortable. Plenty of towels and there were wash cloths in the bathroom. Easy parking.

Clean and convenient stay in Franklin, TN

We had a delightful trip to Franklin in large part because of the clean and convenient stay at this location. The owners are fabulous folks, very accommodating and nice. It is an easy walk down historic Main Street to downtown (less than a mile). The walk takes you past some of the most beautiful and historic homes in Franklin, so each trip was enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Place!

Just loved this place. Built a fire in the fireplace and thoroughly enjoyed walking into town through the historic neighborhoods. The host was amazing and responsive and the whole place was so comfortable and roomy. Just wonderful.

Wonderful getaway!

Damon met us upon arrival and we felt immediately at home. He was a wonderful host and the cottage was perfect! Everything very clean and in good condition. The neighborhood was lovely and a great place to walk our dogs. Overall a great stay and we would love to plan another trip back to this area!

Adorable property and kind hosts!

This property couldn’t be cuter and is as darling as it looks in the pictures! I stayed here for two weeks while in town for a horse show, and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Mark greeted me upon arrival to show me around - he was SO warm and friendly. The banana bread which greeted me as well ;-) was beyond delicious! I definitely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity!

Great location, safe, spacious.

Everything we needed was provided. This reminded me of staying in my grandmother's house and I felt comfortable and it brought back memories of those days!! It's a feeling newness and perfection cannot bring!! Coffee on the sunporch is better than any 5 star hotel I've been to. You won't regret staying here. We hope to stay again.

Lovely

We had a lovely stay! The owners were excellent to work with, very accommodating and kind. The home was clean, spacious. We loved the floor plan of the bedrooms being separated. It’s ideal for 2 couples. The king bed was very comfortable for us! It was too chilly to use the sun porch but I imagine it will be delightful next time! A couple of minor suggestions are the overhead lighting in the kitchen could be brighter. The light over the sink was the most helpful. And the living space seating could be updated. While the pieces look great for the period vibe, the comfort for an evening to relax could be better. Those are minor mentions though, we had a great time in Franklin & Nashville and would definitely return to General quarters!! Thanks Mark & Damon!!
