The Hotel Schweizerhof in Bern is an iconic hotel right in the centre of Bern, within easy walking distance of the train station, shops and restaurants. We utilised the valet parking service to park our hire car and asked for the car to be ready the next day at 10am. Breakfast was a delight every morning with a view onto the park next door. Staff were lovely. The room was also very comfortable although I did find the public spaces such as the foyer not very cosy.

Staff and facilities were excellent. Room was very clean and comfortable. Common areas were great. Affordable accommodation that ticked all the boxes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! We had such an amazing stay. Wish we stayed longer than 1 night! Our room was on the corner of top floor and had so much space and light. Great views. The metro/tram was literally across the road. So many restaurants in the area. The lady who checked us in was lovely. Highly recommend 5/5

The room was spacious and quiet which was surprising given the hotel is located direct opposite the busy train station and bus/tram stop. The beds were comfortable and bed linen and towels crispy white.
