The atmosphere is amazing, the views are wonderful, staff are extremely helpful and welcoming. Short walk to the ocean to watch the sunrise. Sunset was beautiful and could be watched from the main lobby. Sit and relax to live music. We were busy and wasn’t able to participate in the morning yoga or get out on the water with the Kayaks ): Breakfast was homemade vegan banana bread, fresh fruit and coffee - delicious.
This eco friendly, chicken frolicking, animal friendly treasure is worth checking out!

The property was beautiful clean and plenty of towels ect.
But didnt have toilet brushes.
We needed more bin holders we where only given 2 for 10 days with kids.
And a broom. Or..dust pan and brush to pick up fine stuff, sand in the toilets or kitchen area. A few more Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Salt and Pepper ingredients wouldnt go astray. Its is a lovely big lounge area to feel homely. Just need a bit more for thought...in the kitchen, save buying it.
We ended up buying them.and donated them the young guy on the front desk...family man with 4 kids.
And gave him a nice tip, for his help planning our way around the city, ubers calls...ect.
Our plane arrived at 11.30 so we got in a 2.30 early...4.00 checks seems the norm...but if the room is ready...it shouldnt be a issue..a quick message and we where in. It made our day run more smoothly...sitting around in foyer waiting to get in...was hard. So the front desk allowed us to go into the pool...which we where eternal grateful for.
The convenience of being near a major shopping center was great...quick dinner in food courts, made the family life easier for all. Waikiki was too busy for me...but each to there own. Rooms are spacious and views lovely...no need for Air Conditioning that high up.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,990 reviews)
I read many reviews before I booked this hotel. Now that I've stayed, I want to share my review to help others to make the decision. Like many reviews, the hotel location is great, close to the beach and everything else. The hotel is old and room is bored and dated (80s feel). On the other hand, the staffs are friendly and professional. Suzie who checked us in and out was great, professional, and all were smooth. We arrived at 11am but could not checked in early. We got our room around 3pm. Suzie gave us a high floor room (1806) which has good city and mountain view, THANKS! Breakfast is ok, more of Asian vibe. The lobby has a game good with pool table and few other games. As for the room, we had 2 double bed, city view. The room is a bit small but ok for 3 of us. The shower is very small but for us (asian) is ok. The room although is very dated but fully functional. The room door makes loud noise when close and there was garbage truck noise 1 day (i believe Sat morning around 4am) which was very loud even we stayed on 18th floor, not a big deal though. Overall, I give this 4/5 and would stay here again for the price and location. However, I'd not recommend for honeymooners or if you come with a girlfriend because the old, dated, boring room may throw your vacation mood off.

"You may get a room without elevator access, this can be a pain if you have a lot of heavy luggage. Also, the water is really warm even on the coldest temperature setting. Other downside if the AC unit was really old, wasn’t on when we got to the room and took forever to cool the room. Was time to ..."
