Absolutely loved my time at SavHotel. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Best breakfast buffet I have ever had and comfy, clean rooms. 10/10.

Value for money in a beautiful art deco building. Close to train and bus, both about 20 minutes from Bologna Central. High ceilings, individual balconies overlooking lush gardens with fountain and waterfall. Central dining/breakfast area nicely appointed, but only the one area, plus and outside casual dining area not available when we visited in May 25. Breakfast is included. Rooms are small but clean. Village shops and restaurants are still gearing up for summer with many renovations going on,...

Great hotel close to everything. A few minutes walk to the old town restaurants, Bus stops 100 m away and within easy walking distance to everywhere. The hotel has Venetian style paintings adorning the walls and a lovely garden bar. Highly recommend

The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Fabulous location right in the city centre. Great choice of food at breakfast. Very comfortable stay and would highly recommend.

This is a well presented property that is quite new. The staff were exceptionally helpful with any query we had. The breakfasts were great, the restaurant quite good and the prices reasonable. It is some distance from the town centre but we had a car so it did not matter. There is a nearby bus service that can be used.

Nice and cosy hotel right in between Bologna and Imola. Good breakfast included.
If you are a Motorsport fan, this is the hotel where Ayrton Senna used to come when racing in Imola. It was here that he spent his last night before the fatal accident in 1994.
I'd recommend the Hotel Castello to anyone visting this part of Italy.

We only stayed one night as we needed to be in the area very early the next day. It was nice to find a modern and spacious room. The hotel is situated in an industrial area of Bologna and it was the most modern hotel we stayed in in Italy, nice surprise.

We had a lovely stay with a warm welcome from reception. The room was lovely. A space in the attic with four beds, desk, mini fridge and tv. It had a cute little deck and sunroof that let in lots of light. The bathroom was huge and modern. The hotel was next door to a nice restaurant but unfortunately they were fully booked. We were able to get take away pizza which was good. Overall a great place for myself and my 3 kids.

Property is currently undergoing renovations so this limits the outdoor areas to sit to have a drink or eat. Area where breakfast is served is very enclosed. An outdoor area in summer again would have been nice.
