"I was a little concerned about the place, based on some of the other reviews, but the price was good and they are pet friendly so we decided to give it a try anyway. We had no big complaints - it's not fancy but it's just fine for a night. The inside was much cleaner than the outside. Someone should pick up garbage in the lot - it's a bit gross. We didn't have breakfast because the sign said we couldn't bring food to our room and we couldn't leave the dogs alone in the room so we had no option other than to not have any. :( That was a bit sad. There is a microwave and a fridge in the room so clearly food is allowed so I am not sure what the reason is for the breakfast rule. I did go get coffee - I got the last cup and a 1/2 for the 2 of us to share- the breakfast looked basic but fine. Overall - it was fine. You wouldn't want to have your honeymoon there or anything but it's clean and good enough for a 1 night stay when you are travelling with pets."

"No complaints amazing cottage / property owner answered all questions quickly even helped with giving us tips on where to fish unfortunately we never got a chance to rent a boat and explore hoping to bring family back soon !!!"

"Steve’s property was incredible! My friends and I did a 4 night stay at his beautiful cottage and all had an amazing time! The place was clean, the listing was accurate, the water/lakefront was beautiful, watching the stars on the deck at night was great, and best of all, Steve was a fantastic host who promptly responded to all questions, reached out to see if we needed anything, and provided ample instructions and suggestions to ensure our stay was as good as it was. I cannot recommend this property enough, and I cannot recommend booking with Steve enough. Would book here again in a heartbeat!"

"Fantastic cottage. Host/owner was so lovely, responsive & kind. The home itself is exactly what you'd want for a big family getaway - water toys (canoe, kayak, SUPS), a fire pit, a huge kitchen with two (!) stoves, a fab pool table that was used every day, a bbq, tons of plates & cutlery, gadgets. We made a cake for my mom's 80th bday. Just perfect. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, worth the four hour drive from and to Toronto. "

"A wonderful, spacious cottage on a peaceful lake. Mike’s lodge was the perfect place for our long weekend getaway for our group of 13. Plenty of places to stay, hang out, and enjoy. The pool table, Golden Tee game, kayaks and floats made it so we always had something to do, and the facilities allowed us to easily cater for our group. Mike the host was so friendly, helpful and responsive, he ensured we got quick answers to all our questions. Would highly recommend this lodge for any large group!"

"Wonderful stay. Quiet and relaxing. Saw ducks, geese, deer, painted turtles, a raccon, a beaver and chipmunks... all from the deck.. most in the yard. Very tranquil, will stay again."
