"This hotel was awesome. It was in a great location from Duke University. The staff likewise, were pleasant and very attentive to our needs."

"Booked a double bedroom understanding we wouldn’t have some amenities (like iron, hairdryer, and microwave), in-room However what was disappointing was that the lobby didn’t even have these on request. It’s not that expensive to get the most basic of amenities for your customers. A communal Iron and hairdryer can not cost more than $50. A used microwave, which would not only be nice for your customers but also your employees so they could heat up lunch, can’t be more than $30. These little things just show a cheapness and lack of care for the customer’s experience. In terms of cleanliness, it was ok. Surfaces and bed weren’t bad , floor was sticky. Oh and the policies they have, such as only 15 min in the lobby is off putting. I was hopeful staying here, and have had decent experiences at 2 star hotel, but honestly my experience here just made me feel like I should have spent a bit extra to stay at another hotel. Management needs to do better"

"I had to contact the front desk twice for the heat not working. They had to send a maintenance person to the room twice. It still continued to not work through the night, the room was very cold. I woke up with a runny nose and coughing."

"Great property for up to six guests in the three bedrooms. Everything was well appointed up to the little details, including extra toilet paper and a well stocked kitchen. One thing that is very important to note is the driveway has a very steep edge where it meets the storm drain and the cul-de-sac. My recommendation is, if you have a sedan or something with low clearance, park on the street."

"The house was very clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms are spacious. This made a great base for activities we had in the area and is close to shops and major roads. The only issue was actually getting inside the property. The lockbox wasn't functioning, so we couldn't get in. We contacting the owner a few times and got voicemail. We were on our way to alternative lodgings when the owner called and got things straightened out with a different method of entry. The lockbox continued to malfunction the entirety of the stay. Things happen and technology likes to give surprises, so I don't hold it against the owner, but it was an inconvenience after a long day's drive."
