"I was disappointed in the condition of the property for the price per night. I paid $263 (after fees and taxes) The room was clean but threadbare. The bed linens were nice but the towels were clean but threadbare. No grab bar in the tub. The TV did not get a signal and the door did not close properly. Also, the exterior door was unlocked 24/7 and I was the last room on the first floor near that door. I did not experience the breakfast area. Not a "Comfort" visit."

"It seemed like a good deal when looking at the price but the room was pretty beat up and there are no amenities. Like you can't even get coffee in the lobby and no coffee maker in the room, and for a longer stay hotel, there are no plates, silverware, or anything available to support a longer stay. The furniture and walls are really beat up so be prepared for it looking pretty old. It is clear that management has not put a lot of care into the building for quite some time. After a red eye flight, we asked if it was possible for an early check in (1-2 hours early) and they said, "NO!" so rudely before we even finished our request. I don't think they even knew the request before their interruption. Lastly, the garbage cans are located right by the entry doors which is pretty normal but the staff stands there smoking so it is really tough to enter or exit the building without going thru a horrible cloud of smoke everytime. Not healthy at all. "

"We loved everything about this stay. Water was hot in the showers, beds were comfy, LOTS of space for everyone (We had 9, but we could have held 12.) and very clean. Shawnellen was so kind and accommodating. The lake is beautiful and so relaxing to sit outside in the evening. There’s a boat launch 100 yards up the street, I wish I had brought my boat. Pretty easy driving to just about anything in West Monroe or Monroe. Nice kitchen and grill. The whole family had a blast."
