"Had an amazing stay! Loved being able to walk from my room right on to the beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating at all points- check in, cleaning, restaurant etc. A bucket of water was placed outside the room so that I would not drag sand from the beach into the room. I loved that touch - very thoughtful. The beach and the sky in the evening definitely competed for most gorgeous view. Food at the restaurant was delicious and extremely convenient. Parking was opposite the property and secure. I solo traveled and felt safe at all times, so much so that I hardly closed the doors so I can hear the waves on the beach. The hotel is a bit out of the way if you want to go to town so I would advise a car rental... but it is approximately 8min drive from the ferry that takes you over to St Thomas and other places. I found out that the hotel has its own brand of rum and merch, which I thought was really cool! Highly recommend! I did not want to leave and would most certainly return."

"Excellent house with a great pool and exceptional views. The villa was immaculate when I arrive and very nicely furnished. Sylvia greeted me and walked me through all of the details of the villa. She was one of the best parts of the stay. Sylvia went out of her way to bring me a case of water after I had forgotten it while shopping. The grocery stores are not very close and I did not rent a car. She also stopped in mid week to clean and do some laundry for me. She also brought someone to take care of a problem with the outdoor grill which was the only issue I had all week. September is a slow month for Tortola with no crowds which was perfect for my plans for a quiet and relaxing vacation. I walked down to Long Bay Beach and Smuggler's Cove and I almost had the beaches to myself. I highly recommend Smuggler's Cove and Patricia's Beach Bar. The road to the villa is very steep but not too difficult to walk if you take your time. I did use Eric, Sylvia's recommended taxi driver, for a few trips to and from the ferry ports for trips to the other BVI islands. Taxis are a little expensive for just one person but Eric's punctuality and dependability made it definitely worth it. I would definitely stay at Villa Sirenetta again although I would probably rent a car next time to see more of the island."

"Long Bay was absolutely stunning. Akil took care of us from the time we got there until the time we left. The rooms and location are absolutely beautiful. This is a must stay location for couples and anyone looking to get away with their partner or couples. We will definitely be coming back! "

"I arrived on Tortola with my three teenage children (husband couldn't come) just as Hurricane Erin looked like it was headed directly for the island. It was quite an adventure! Jonathan, the host, felt immediately like family and his primary concern was for our safety and floated the possibility that he would move us to a space that wasn't so high up in the mountains and exposed to the elements. We didn't end up having to do that, but it was nice to know that was an option in case it was needed. Jonathan was calm but also let us know that this could be treacherous. Jonathan & co came and boarded up all the windows and doors and we spent 2 days in the house like that. Sounds not so great, but my kids and I made the best of it cooking, watching movies coloring and playing cards. Once the storm passed and the clouds cleared we could finally see how special the house and the location were. All the reviews say the same thing, but the views are simply stunning and the infinite pool was exquisite. We spent hours in that pool. We enjoyed the local restaurants and just driving around the island in our Jeep was an adventure in itself. We took a day trip to Virgin Gorda and the Baths-should not be missed, and also chartered a boat to take us to the best snorkling spots in the area. Swimming with sea turles was a highlight. The local, private beach was our favoriWe have stayed in MANY beautiful VRBO homes, but we all agreed that Jonathan's house was at the top of that list. "

"Wonderful staff, concierge, and owners, who made us feel so at home, welcomed and cared for from the beginning until our departure! Photos cannot capture the spatial depth of beauty of Gestalt Villa! We hosted several meals for our extended family, 12 persons in all, and there was space for all at table and social spaces and pool made the a joy! Some of our family spent the week on a Moorings bareboat 4200, and being so close to Sopers Hole in the West End of Tortola made the shared experience of sailing and having a villa such a joy! Every request was responded to promptly. Wonderful in every way! "
