"Great comms and lovely welcome from Luba and Chris for our two night stay. Easy to find and parking right next to the front door. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very peaceful with two spacious doubles, both with their own TV and modern en-suite facilities. Comfortable lounge with wood burner, TV and jigsaw ready to go - all with lovely views over to Hardy's Monument. The local pub is really just for dining and the food is excellent however you must book in advance as it is very small. The cottage is very comfortable and would be equally nice to visit in the winter, lovely wood burning stove and fantastic views. "A very lovely pub in a picturesque village. Spacious rooms, friendly staff, very good food and a broad selection of wines and beers. I arrived just in time for the last dinner order, thankfully. Breakfast was included in my stay and was also very nice. The pub is very homely, warmly lit and has a classic village inn feel. The bathroom in my room could probably benefit from a slight cosmetic improvement but that is a minor point on what was overall a pleasant but brief stay."
