Fabulous house

We had a fabulous stay at Grove House. The house was so well equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. It's a lovely spacious house for the number of guests so we were never on top of each other. The garden is beautifully kept and so lovely to sit in. Plenty of parking makes it ideal for exploring Wells when it's busy as you don't have to worry about not finding a space in town. This was our second stay at Grove House and we would certainly go back again.

Grove house is a lovely place to stay especially for a family gathering. Plenty of space and very well equipped. Also excellent location for visiting Wells and other locations on the North Norfolk coast. Will definitely book another stay.

Lovely house within 2 miles of the beach

We spent a week there in March. Lovely comfortable house 1mile from the quay / harbour & 2 miles from the sandy beach. Very clean. However, 2 out of the 4 bedrooms were not usable: no central heating, finally repaired 36 hrs before we left. A great pity.

To many petty rules

A very nice holiday property well kept and well equipped the house rules regarding keeping your dog in the porch and kitchen seems rather harsh and the moving of items pots and furniture etc seems a bit petty having said is still a good place to stay

House in Wells

The tvs in the bedrooms were not working and it was cold in the bedrooms in the extension. Nevertheless a wonderful house.

A brilliant house for a group to stay in North Norfolk.

Very comfortable, and spacious accommodation, with very good location for tourist attractions and on the edge of Wells-Next-Sea.

A lovely break near the sea

The accommodation was excellent, comfortable furnishings and spacious. Only let down by the dreary weather..... We would consider staying here again but maybe later in the summer next time..

A beautiful large property. Decorated to a very high standard. A welcome pack on your arrival of tea, milk, cake etcetera. Close to Wells town centre.. Parking for several cars which is a big bonus! Bed linens and towels were super quality. You won't be disappointed with your stay at this lovely house.

Grove house holiday

Spent a week in the grove house for the first time and we all really enjoyed it, the back garden made it for all of us.

Grove House

Grove House is apparently a family home, rather than a holiday let, and this is obvious in every aspect of the property. We were provided with everything we needed (apart from a tin opener! - we bought one and left it for the next residents!). The layout was perfect for the three generations of our family, aged from two to seventy, with adequate space for everyone. The weather was lovely and all in all we had a perfect holiday.

Great property in good location

Everything about this place was excellent. There was not anything that had not been thought of or provided. One slight issue was cleanliness of wheelie bins and clarification of local recycling policy.

Second time at Grove House

This is our second stay at Grove House and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. The house is a great situation, walking distance into the town and local co-op. We love the fact we can include our dog Scooby on our holiday, the house is well equipped for dogs. We are an extended family of eight, ranging from 21 to 81. The house is very well planned out for us, we put the kids in the extended section and the oldies in the existing bit-it’s far enough away so we don’t hear them. The house is well equipped, well decorated and caters for all of our needs.

fantastic place to stay for the north norfolk coast

This house really is well located and suited our family perfectly (6 adults and 2 children and 2 dogs). Very well equipped with all top quality furnishings. Wi-Fi, Sky TV and gas BBQ all provided to ensure our stay was both fully catered for and very relaxing, this house really has got far to many positives to list. Local supermarket (Co-Operative), and excellent pub (The Bowling Green), within very easy walking distance and you need only stroll slightly further to Wells-Next-the-Sea quay, town pubs and shops. Well worth a visit to the Wells & Walsingham light railway, 300 metres down the road, for a 30 minute journey to Walsingham for a relaxing walk around the village and a great pub lunch. A short trip out in the car or you could do the coastal walk, to Holkham Hall and all it offers. Venture a little further and the Sandringham estate is within easy driving distance. If there was a negative for us, it would have been perfect to have had better hot water pressure in the very well equipped kitchen and the rubbish bins could do with a clean along with better advise on when to put them out for collection (it was a bank holiday so collections where a bit messed up). It was a fantastic place to stay and we would certainly return if the opportunity arose.

Another lovely week in Norfolk

We have recently returned from a week at Grove House in Wells Next The Sea. Our ages ranged from 9-70 and we had a lovely week. The house is very well equipped and the layout meant that as a family of 8 + dog we had plenty of room. We were blessed with beautiful weather over the bank holiday so got to use the BBQ and garden and my girls loved the two sunbeds in the summerhouse to relax on when they wanted time away from adults. We were glad of the ample parking as Wells was very busy that weekend so it was great to not have to worry about finding somewhere to park after a day out. I would recommend staying at Grove House to anyone thinking of a holiday in Wells.

Short break in wells

The house is perfectly located for a short break in wells, with everything within walking distance... although it is on the edge of town so a good stroll is required to the beach. The house is well appointed and feels very much like a home from home. The bedrooms within the annex allowed our extended family - grandparents with both their kids and their kids - to all have plenty of space and not be on top of each other. Only annoyance was the garden was unsafe for little children with drops from the grassed area straight into the concrete terraces which was unfortunate as meant we couldn’t just let the kids run around the lovely garden. Also the little step between the lounge and the kitchen is a hazard that could easily be rectified. Overall we would recommend and stay again :-)

Excellent property in a good location with plenty of off road parking. Bedrooms all good sizes and bedding and towels good quality. The ordinary cooker is a little small if the property is full and some larger glasses for beer drinkers would be good.

A wonderful holiday home, Being lucky with the weather helped us to enjoy the beautiful large garden

Grove House is well situated and not being in the centre of Wells allows more living space and adequate parking for cars. The Coop provides for good shopping nearby as we tended to eat in a lot. The only shortcomings were that finding an empty butane gas cylinder on the barbecue we were unable to easily locate a replacement. Although you advised this was stored in the garage this was not apparent from the instruction manual, Reverting to the cooker we found it became very hot and at one point switched itself off. The cooker needs attention or replacement. There were inadequate large pots and pans for eight people. Apart from these minor problems everything else was wonderful including the garden furniture which enabled us to eat and drink outside. The lawns were great providing wonderful playing space for our three year old. Bedrooms and bathrooms were of a high standard. We plan to book again for next year. Perhaps you could advise when bookings open for next year.
