The room smelled musty, but it didnt trigger my allergies, so we stayed for the night. The bed was kind of hard and the pillows very thin. It did the trick though and was very cost effective for a night's rest. The room had a heat pump, so we could easily set our desired temp.

The Carriage House Motel and Cottages was very nice. We stayed in the motel part. The room was clean and spacious. It had a small table to sit and eat at or play games. It also had a small kitchenette with a fridge. The property had a pool and a hot tub. It’s also conveniently located to all the spots we wanted to see. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around too. I would definitely stay here but maybe I’d like to try the cottages. They looked very cute.

Pros: Staff were friendly. Room was very cost effective for the area. The bathroom was clean. The beds were clean. Roku TV with every app available. Heat pump for on demand climate control. Cons: The fridge could use a good cleaning. This one detractor would not stop me from coming back as the pros vastly outweighed it. 8/10 would definitely recommend and return to property.

What a find!!!! Especially in a town/region where prices are double and triple the rates at Carriage House. The owners and staff could not have been more accommodating, kind and helpful. The property is incredibly clean and well maintained and charming - and pet friendly! You can choose a cottage, 1br, 2 or more or sweet motel rooms with actual real Mr Coffee's, not those awful single pod weird hotel coffee makers; fridge, microwave, renovated bathroom and impeccably clean -- all, as I say, for a rate about a third of what MUCH lesser properties right nearby cost. Believe me, I am in Ogunquit frequently for work. I've stayed a LOT of places there. A total find! I'll be back with my crew and I endorse the place 100%.

We had a wonderful stay at a fair price. I was able to spend an extra day for the same price compared to another location last year. It was nice getting breakfast cooked in our room before starting our busy day. I’m not crazy about pet friendly but there was no foul odors or pet hairs visible making it a non issue. We will be back next year for sure.
