"The lift didn’t work during our stay which made access very difficult with luggage. Also experienced my pet hate in hotel rooms; ‘Cool white’ led lights in all of the lights, even bedside lamps, instead of warm white. Complete mood killers and makes your bedroom feel like a kitchen."

"Love the upstairs section. Spa superb. Only thing was bar fridge froze some of our food. This is our favourite place to stay on East Coast. St Helen’s is one of the best towns to be in too. Great locality to everything"

"We found this cute little house very quiet and private and perfect for our overnight stay. We didn’t cook while we were there but the kitchen seemed to have everything we would have normally needed. It was cold when we arrived but the heaters took no time at all to get things cosy and comfortable. Our mountain bike riding teens used the hose and bike rack for a post-ride clean up and the washer and dryer came in handy with supplied washing powder too.An easy drive to Derby for mountain biking and eating out. We would definitely consider staying again."
