"Beautiful property with a homey feeling in a quiet, country-like setting, while having the travelers convenience of a Dollar General store and 2 gas stations less than a mile away. "Pros: The house was very well decorated and clean. It has modern appliances. The beds were comfortable. There's a nice grill on the front porch. The internet works well and the TV works well. The two bathrooms are nice. Great communication with the owner. Quiet neighborhood and very close to Bramwell and the trails. It is one of the nicer homes I've rented in WV to ride the Hatfield/McCoy trails. Cons: When we arrived, the house was over 80 degrees and had the smell of old cigarettes. It would've been nice for the A/C to have been turned on, and the house ventilated better. It is a no smoking property, so I'm guessing that residents in past years smoked in the house which makes it hard to get rid of the smell. The driveway is tough. I had a 12' trailer and it was hard to navigate because of the steepness. I wouldn't have been able to back up the driveway without the use of four wheel drive."

"The cabin was just as described in the listing. Antique pieces abound throughout the cabin.The kitchen is well equipped and there are abundant towels in the bathroom. We stayed during hot weather and the downstairs of the cabin stayed nice and cool. The host is very responsive and provided a lot of good recommendations for local or nearby food and activities. She was very helpful and gracious when we had to check out a day sooner than expected."

"If you’re looking for a homey get away, THIS IS YOUR PLACE. This house is beautifully set up, with more than enough space! Its location is perfect for access to the town of Welch, as well as the trails for riding! The host was very responsive and so nice. I definitely will be booking this place again!"
