"Being a smaller quaint hotel it was assumed it would not have the amenities of a chain hotel. I had opted to pay the higher rate when booking to include breakfast, however the front desk tried to charge me.for the breakfast meals. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable and I was unable to get a restful nights sleep the whole time I was there. The pillows were also worn out and need replaced. Overall it was an ok hotel, not worth what was paid, however the spa was nice and so was the entire spa...

"We had a great and very relaxing time. Even though most places like bars and restaurants were closed (out of season and pandemic) we didn't run out of activities. "We were welcomed warmly by Margaret who was attentive and helpful in every way. This is a fabulous property, well laid out with nicely kept garden which we were able to use as required. We were allowed freely to use the kitchen to prepare our evening meals which was a boost as there are no restaurants in the immediate area so a trip to the nearby supermarket was easy. There is nothing of any interest locally although the local train station, a 15 min walk away took you to all stations cheaply...
