Wish we had more time to enjoy…
Traveled from Arkansas for a family wedding about an hour away from your house. We all commented that we wish we’d had more time just to enjoy the house. The ONLY thing I could say is that we needed an ironing board. Otherwise, it was very comfortable accommodation.

Totally relaxing
Everything was clean and in order. We were only disappointed by the grill. Whoever, used it last did not clean it up. We had to give it a good scrubbing and burning off of the racks before we could use itl However, everything else was clean and in order. Perfect place to stay for a high school team competing in Oxford. We had 9 teenagers and a couple of adults. The house gave them the room to spread out and relax - much better and safer than a set of motel rooms

Great location!
This lake house is easy to access and not far from town. The whole house is very spacious. Basement can be a little chilly, but there are plenty of blankets. Nice view of the lake from the porch.

Verry nice property, plenty of room. Dollar General less than 2 miles away if you forgot something. Could have used a chair in the bedrooms for getting dressed. I would rent again.

Paradise in Wedowee
This house is perfect for large families. Plenty of beds and rocking chairs! We enjoyed the large, open kitchen and spacious living room. The view of the lake is gorgeous. Dock has seating for all. We had a great paddle down the lake towards the marina in the house kayaks. We hope to return!

Great house, lots of space for family to come and enjoy! Beautiful view of the lake.
We had a great week at the lake. House was amazing, clean, and easy process throughout rental. • lake was low! • lots of trash on the lake • there’s lots of uneven steps from house to dock • small refrigerator/freezer space relative to amount of guests that can stay Overall-recommend this lake get a way!

Thanks Scott! Yes - the lake is lower in the winter. Lake Wedowee goes down 8 feet in the winter and that does cause more debris to float in the lake. However, to clarify, our lakehouse does have year-round water and it is actually 8 feet at our dock even in the winter. One more clarification - we do have a full size fridge/freezer. Glad you caught so many fish that you needed more freezer space! :) Really glad you had a great time!!!

Wonderful place for a large crowd
We have a small teen group at church, so we brought them here for a weekend retreat. Everyone loved it! There was plenty of space, lots of beds and bathrooms, and many extras (ping pong table, game systems, kayaks, etc.). The property manager was very professional and gave us all the information needed. This house had everything we were looking for and more!

The house was perfect hosting 8 adults for a fishing trip. Plenty of space to gather on main level or back deck and room for smaller group to hang out downstairs. Jody was very accommodating, responsive and amazing to work with before and throughout our stay.

An Early Christmas With Family
Back again for Christmas. This was the perfect location for our family to meet and enjoy Christmas. It was wonderful to sit in the rocking chairs and have coffee with a perfect lake view. The living room was big enough for all of us to do our Dirty Santa and exchange gifts. The kitchen is very well equipped as well. We are already discussing coming back.

A beautiful location and a great spot for relaxation
The quite cove was perfect for swimming, fishing and kayaking! We enjoyed the relaxing pier and the ping pong table. Our grandchildren were excited about the basketball goal which was a nice surprise. (Just remember to bring a basketball) Also, it was convenient to stores and the city of Wedowee. It was a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy some special time with our family!

Ample room and then some
We have four married children and 5 grandkids and everyone got a bed which is hard to find for our big family. Very clean which is a must and comfortable beds all around in every room. Just around the corner from the marina so was easy to bring our boat along. Tons of fun for everyone.

Beautiful and cozy home on Lake Wedowee. Peaceful, calming colors throughout the home make the indoors almost as nice as the spectacular view from the large deck showing off God’s handiwork overlooking the lake. Jody was prompt in answering any and all emails I sent and a kind and gracious host.
