"Overall it was enjoyable, the only drawback was the elevator shutdown from 10PM until 9AM (or so) as it "traps" handicapped people for the duration. I was able to use the outside stairs without too much trouble but anyone with a more severe issue would not be able."

"Beautiful Victorian, our room was was exactly like the photos on line, comfortable bed. Sadly the property is for sale and there is some deferred maintenance such as burned out light bulbs, vent switch not working. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We would stay there again. Wonderful things to see in Weatherford. "

"Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need...

"We stayed here with a group of friends over Labor Day Weekend. Enjoyed gold at Sugar Tree nearby, but spent the vast majority of the weekend down by the water taking full advantage of the outdoor kitchen area. It was a great spot to relax, catch up and grill, cook and hang for a weekend. The cabana area was great and convenient, from the kitchen to even having a TV. Great spot!"

"OUTSTANDING! Quaint and romantic getaway. We enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The views were beautiful. The barn was comfortable and had all the amenities of home. Bed was comfortable. The private pool was great in the summer heat. The interaction and sounds of the the farm animals made the experience unique. Close enough to town in case you need anything. Loved every minute of our stay."
