"Excellent hotel in Tamsui. Location is very convenient to famous tourist attractions. Light rail / transit nearby. Hotel is clean with friendly staff. High quality buffet. "Perfect stay for our anniversary, they held our bags as we checked in early and showed us to the hotspring and spa facilities. There were indoor and outdoor springs with sauna and steam room in an onsen style setting. Our room had its own hotspring tub. We received a bottle of wine as a courtesy along with assorted bon bons. The Chinese restaurant was delicious and it was an easy walk to the hot spring river. Excellent stay."

"Facilities quite new and very clean, staff very friendly and helpful, a must stay at Xin Beitou if you have children, as children are not allowed to enter public onsen at lvl 1, but they can enjoy the private one within the room. "It is a vey nice hotel. The only thing I do not understand is why the last entry for the breakfast is 9:00am. That is very unusual while we can stay inside the restaurant until 10:00am. The 9:00am is a bit early for those who are on vacation especially Taipei is full of night activities. The staff is very polite and helpful. The hot spring available inside the room is nice especially if you love to lie down in the bathtub to enjoy the moment of relaxation."

"Large generous rooms with excellent views. Loved the small public onsen bath, which were free to use for guests. Location was a bit out of the way and perhaps would be difficult to access without a car, but we had relatives living nearby to drive us. But this would be a plus if seclusion is what you seek. The breakfast buffet was delicious too, though it did get very crowded if you don't go early."
