This was probably the cutest and most thoughtfully updated and appointed room on our two-week Lake Superior Circle Tour. Everything was spotless, and the solid wood furniture was beautiful. I appreciated the many sustainability features (real glasses and coffee mugs, refillable dispensers of soap and shampoo in the shower), and was grateful for the blackout shade that allowed us to sleep later than the sun wanted to wake us up. The quality sheets and comfortable mattresses added to that peaceful sleep environment. I highly recommend this place!

I had a lovely stay at The Parkway Motel. While I am somewhat skeptical and leary about staying in a motel, this one is different. This is very clean and well maintained with a friendly owner and staff. I very much like the policy of not allowing pets to sleep in rooms that people are sleeping in... for sanitary conditions. Thank you!! I look forward to staying with you in a few months when venturing back out west. Warm regards, Lori
