"Everything about this place is amazing! The house is beautiful, extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was huge. The hosts deserve the biggest shout out, so accommodating and nice. Waking up and having coffee on the patio listening to the roosters crow and then in the evening hearing the cicadas sing was so peaceful. When we go back next year we will definitely plan to stay there again. Thank you again!"

"The Barge Inn was an awesome getaway. The place is restful and peaceful. The view is amazing and we saw several eagles. Paris TN is not far and a super cute town. We enjoyed visiting Ft. Donelson to learn more history and take some great hiking trails. Highly recommend The Barge Inn!"

"The view from this home was spectacular. We loved the open concept of the home and the large combination sleeping room/rec room for the young people in our group. Even the dog had a great time. He loved the dog bed, and the large fenced in yard was perfect for him. The only caveat is that the walk to the private pebble beach is down the steep boat ramp, which was challenging for a member of our group with disabilities, but she made it there and back with support, and the swimming was worth it. We also enjoyed taking the canoe out to explore the little island."
